Now let me say one thing.

I did clear my cookies and cache a few hours ago before getting back online.

Already reset my safari, was the first thing i tried.

In case anyone is wondering i'm using Safari 3.0.4 in Leopard by erase and install.

The only change i made to my computer since it was offline was replacing libcrypto.0.9.dylib to the universal verison that was in Tiger (a Leopard bug where it is only compiled as PPC)

let's give it another try...

So far so good here. Had a little trouble loading pages for minute or two right at the top of the hour, but everything seems to be displaying fine for me.

if anyone else has weird character rendering issues, let me know. It might be isolated to xUKHCx. (you don't have to reply if it's working fine for you :) )

Just to clarify to anyone reading this it was an issue related specifically to me and my completely screwed up version of Safari.

I just got home and got on. Looks good here on 10.5 under Safari. Speed was good getting on, and afterwards. No visual glitches that I can see.

Thanks for the hard work Arn.

Is everything o.k. now?

Short answer yes

long answer it took a reboot, then a second so i could get online (thanks to leopard bug). Then found safari was fubar. To to my Time Machine backup to get Safari from there. Still fubar. The pop the installer DVD in but my superdrive has intermittent problems. So after 5 goes ejecting the disk, it finally takes then I managed to install Safari.
