And munkery, thank you so much, you are the only one not telling me I'm wrong and that I should do a little reading and researching...
You're misunderstanding and being hyper-sensitive. I understand you made an honest mistake in suggesting your solution. I can even understand your reaction to all the comments about that initial suggestion. But the "do a little reading and researching" is not only for this situation, but for the future. We're trying to suggest that you use this as a learning experience, and that you read the information that's been offered, so you will be equipped to accurately help others in the future.

I'm not attempting too. You try getting pummeled by a bunch of people when you were only trying to help...

Honestly, there are a lot of instigators on the internet. You spend enough time in forums and you become one yourself.

Most of the people on this forum are not of that type but tend to be defensive given the amount of trolling that occurs in this forum.

You have now been initiated into the realm of Mac Rumors; feel like you belong.

Oh and by the way people, the comment of mine in question as been changed. So there is honestly no reason to be dragging this on. I noticed my mistake and I changed it, but most of you didn't catch that. I did listen to you guys, but in another sense I was supporting why I posted it in the first place. I've changed it to (and I did this HOURS ago) Don't click that there button. I removed anything I had said relating to MalwareBytes. Ok? Situation Normal?

Well...thank you...I think :)

If you had a smilar situation to somone, wouldn't you tell them how you fixed it as an attempt to help them? That's merely all I was doing and all this **** was unintentionally needed.

Seriously GGJs has helped people on these boards for years (as have many of us). He should get paid for the quality of answers produced.

Anyway, using a mac at school or at the apple store doesn't make you a 1337 uber hacker, just like routesims and labs talking about cisco gear doesn't give you the ability to develop a global network from scratch.

Some of the stuff you've said has made me scratch my head and say "what? noooo...no one could think that" but you continue on, attempting to call out other's lack of knowledge...Commendable, but you can't expect not to get attacked back.

Like I said, experience is tops. I'm sure your a smart kid, hacking into all sorts of stuff just like every other 14 year old, but before you start giving advice i'd suggest a couple of readings just to make sure your on solid footing, and particularly before calling out some of the more veteran users =):

And I understand you, honestly I do. It's just as I said the first comment/reply I got to my question wasn't the nicest one. It was basically implying I was wrong and that I should research a little more before I suggest help. I had to have been right somewhere, right? And I do thank you all for suggesting the places I should look, but because everyone made this such a big deal, every time someone told me to research a topic I mentioned, it hurt me because that's all they were saying. Research before you say anything, but yet I still have some common sense...I don't need to read size 8 print for a whole hour and a half to respond to some things.

Thank you for understanding why I was upset, and I'll discontinue anything about MalwareBytes and Mac and I'll try to better support my comments.

Anyway, using a mac at school or at the apple store doesn't make you a 1337 uber hacker, I use it at many more places than that, I just don't currently own a model. just like routesims and labs talking about cisco gear doesn't give you the ability to develop a global network from scratch.

Some of the stuff you've said has made me scratch my head and say "what? noooo...no one could think that" but you continue on, attempting to call out other's lack of knowledge...Commendable, but you can't expect not to get attacked back. And I didn't expect my helpful advice would deserve any attacking...and if I did expect it to, I would've greeted the attacks back to me, because I would've known some people would disagree. But I was just stating a simple helpful advice and I didn't expect attack.

Like I said, experience is tops. Yet I still got attacked. =):

I'm literally sweating because it's nearly 80 degrees at 12:03am, so I can't "don't sweat this thread" xD but thank you. I understand everyone and how they responded. I took their responses into consideration, just the way it was delivered to me upset my 14 year old heart...

You know I had to since the next words were "I'm sure you're a smart kid" :D

Let's all forget this ole' shindig and be happy :p And I'm NOT saying this because I need to leave and get a bucket of water to cool myself off -wink wink- xD I'm saying cuz' I'm hungry. JUST KIDDING :p
