Nope, do not agree with that at all. HBO did a terrible job with Game of Thrones (despite a good start). I am not sure what Netflix has done that is at the same level as this project. Who knows whether this will be good or bad, but Apple has certainly demonstrated they are willing to spend the money needed and their production values are on par with or exceed anything HBO has done (both See and For All Mankind are visually impressive, even if some did not enjoy the stories).
That’s just like, your opinion, man

see was refreshing at the start - but is the reason why i made my statement. I watched it to the end which was torture. Might have been visually OK.
the mankind thing - i couldn’t even really start watching - just plain XXXX imho.

HBO has a track record of impressive long and „human possible“ quality content - negating that disqualifies you from discussion - i am not that stubborn - but you really should check your arguments about that ...

apple even pays user that they key Apple TV+ - and i have canceled it even it was free with my iPad - i have netflix and pay for it - even there quality is hard to find - but pops up regularly.

That is in fact my opinion. In response to your statement:

I think we all agree when i say that apple is not mature enough to cover such a story on its very young streaming service - that would be better at a mature service like Netflix or HBO!
Given that I (and many others I am sure) do not agree, your statement that “we all agree” is false.

I think the end of See is more interesting than the beginning, and I am pretty sure @cmaier said the same thing (could not find the quote, search on here is pretty weak).

Again, you may not have liked it, but the production was amazing.

What does “human possible” even mean?

My argument is not that HBO has not made great shows, only that HBO also made Game of Thrones, which in one or two seasons managed to destroy all the value from the six or seven seasons. Based on the bold portion, I think your original statement should have been “everyone that agrees with me agrees that”.

The statement with agrees - was a joke - as i know that we as „mankind“ do not agree at all!

but i agree with myself, that i don’t want discuss with people like you (no offense) just too far apart for my taste

I love the books...up there with Dune....hope they will do the story for all Foundation, Prelude to Foundation , forward the foundation and at least foundation and empire

This is the beginning from where all star wars, dune etc started Foundation is the FATHER

I was a proponent of Apple acquiring CBS/Viacom to gain Star Trek as their flagship sci-fi property to go up against Disney’s Star Wars but I’m starting to see how building Foundation from the beginning as their property can work even better. Not only can tv+ tell the story in the books over 8 seasons, they can then branch off into that world the way Star Wars and Star Trek are doing.

For a true fan it will never be good enough; but it looks like a very serious attempt, so it might just be a good watch anyways. I'm very excited about it.

Seems like weird way to live life. Pre-deciding something will not be good enough.
