So here's ESPN's analysis. I can only assume they generate the grades based on their expert's opinions with a 10 team league using standard scoring.

The problem with ESPN is that their player rankings are all over the place. I was using the iPhone app during that draft and it was so hard to find the players I wanted to draft because their rankings are questionable.

You have to take their rankings and suggestions every week with a huge grain of salt.

I might be interested in trading for a WR. I have a lot of RB depth, but no one is really untouchable, if anyone feels like wheeling and dealing. :D

I know you LOVE Sidney Rice! Make me an offer. ;)

LOL, ****** Sidney Rice. I had him in my Yahoo league last year and he was one of those hot/cold pain in the asses.

I'm interested in Welker, though. :D

If ESPN says I'm medicore, I take that as a huge compliment. :D  They suck at anything outside of obvious analysis (Adrian Peterson #1, etc.). Plus I'm awesome.

Also, just a reminder. I plan on bumping up to #1 this year.

Heh. Due to my lack of knowledge on players and stuff I base my team selections pretty much on the ESPN ratings. Given my horrific win-loss ratio I can confirm that they know next to nowt. :D

**** ESPN and their report card!
Seriously a fail either on their part or mine. Probably mine. :(

Looks like they've been changed - are these finalised then?

Two things I note - first, mscriv has switched his opening fixture from playing me so I can only assume that he's frightened of my lads, and secondly it looks like I'm starting at home so hopefully Meff Park will be ready in time for the big kick off.

Allright folks, the schedule for the season has been completely updated and finalized. I appreciate you patience as setting the schedule is always the most tedious part of getting the league together. If you look at the NFL season you will see that weeks 8 and 9 each have 6 teams on bye that week. Well, no worries, the schedule just happened to work out that on those weeks there are no divisional match ups. So, everyone catches a little bit of a break, but keep in mind every game matters.

I'm really excited about Thursday. Ravens vs. Broncos should be a good game.

As for my first fantasy match up. Well, The.316, don't sweat it, half of the 10 teams in the league are going to start 0-1. Don't let it get you down, I'm sure you'll bounce back. :D

And yes, Jaffa, I'm putting off my game with you for a few weeks so we can both enjoy the anticipation!

We shall see my friend, we shall see. Im still thinking if I want to go with Colin K. or Wilson. I kinda like Wilson a bit more because he is going against Carolina, but we shall see.

I created an Eliminator Challenge on ESPN, and its open to anyone who wants to play here. The challenge is simple, you choose one team who you think will win each week, but once you choose that team, you cannot use them again for the rest of the season. So if you choose New England this week for example, you cannot use them as a winning choice for the rest of the season.

Join soon, because the first game is tonight, that is if you wanted to pick Baltimore or Denver as a winner.

70 points from 2 players last night. I may rest the rest of my starters on Sunday. :D

bragger.
I missed out on points on another league because I forgot to set my lineup. Maybe 4 leagues was too many for me. :(

I was seriously considering starting Flacco over Manning last night.

The Jackalopes have Manning and Wilson as our QBs. After the draft, we set up Wilson as our starting QB as they are playing the Panthers on Sunday. But my son and I had been debating all week on who to start. Peyton was on our bench until about 5 pm, when we switched him. We are very glad we did.

Is this the beginning of a huge year for Payton, or is the Ravens defense just that bad.

I think it is a little of both. Peyton will probably have a good year like he did last year, and the Ravens defense is no where near last year's level.
