The iPhone 6S Plus has a battery with 2750 and is a 1080p phone. The S7E has 3600 and a 1440p. The resolution really isn't that absurdly different. The battery, however, still is pretty large in comparison.

Of course, you could be comparing the 6S and S7. That one you have a case for. Of course, the S7 with the bigger battery, supposedly more efficient display, doesn't match the 6S in battery life from what I've read.

You really can't take people insinuating anything less than great about an Android device, can you?

I can take it:

LagDroid, StageBlight, LagShip. Yes I'm being childish - sue me :p

If you care so much why don't you go to China and volunteer your time?

Oh I forgot. You want OTHER people to do charity not yourself.
I do care a lot. Your post seems to suggest you might not care though. And, I do give back to charity. I just don't want Apple's offshore workers exploited.

Some context to help you grasp the exploitation:

Cost of living in the USA is about 45% - 135% higher than in China. (1)
Wages of factory workers in the USA is about 1158% higher than in China. (2)

There is complete wage imbalance in China. Apple needs to completely up its game to correct this terrible misdeed.

1. http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-livin...ult.jsp?country1=China&country2=United+States
2. The wage of an Apple factory worker in China is about $310 USD per month. (2000 Chinese Yuan per month, but somewhere between 850 Chinese Yuan per month to 2030 Chinese Yuan.) The wage of a factory worker in the USA is about $3900 USD. (Notice the extra zero?)

That's crazy talk.
What's next, a pencil with the iPhone 8?
Madness.

I'd be ALL OVER that.

Trump, is that you?

We probably don't know what they are yet because of the lack of leaks, I'm sure Apple will want to give people a reason to upgrade to the 7, after all the tag line for the 6S was "the only thing that's changed is everything"

As they changed literally nothing at all except 3D touch and bumping up the camera MP lol.

Not really. It'll be a huge upgrade from my 6+. Going to get more ram and a better camera for sure.

That's not huge, that's standard.

Typical redundant comment.

Although I did, kind of; volunteered in Tibet on a tour, and provided free medicare were i could, amazing place, even more amazing people.

Here it is, the yearly implication that Apple are going to use OLED screens in the next model... and we can all guess what happens... they use IPS LCDs, thankfully. OLED is a mess - if OLED were really THAT GOOD, why are they not completely replacing LCDs? It's not as if OLED are new and bleeding edge. Apple are about colour accuracy, especially when you consider their new iPad Pro 9.7". Why would they move one product across to OLED and not the rest - can you say "inconsistent"? I am extremely confident that Apple will skip OLED panels altogether, and that they have something of their own in the pipeline... a little way off yet.

OLED screen: nice gimmick to have if your name is "Samsung".

I think you have very little knowledge +/- practical experience with OLED, unless your basing your assertions on Samsung's iteration as AMOLED.

I have an LG OLED HDR, and wow, the blacks, the colour reproduction and accuracy, especially in 4k is mesmerising and unrivalled, the best TV that i have ever owned. Now i have extensively compared OLED vs LCS-IPS panels, and OLED is certainly not gimmicky or a mess, when implemented well, as LG have done. They have began to trickle into the laptop domain

As for portables, i quite like Samsung's AMOLED on both tablets and phones, although i've been an ios user since 2007.

This article to me implies that Apple is behind Samsung, way behind... and that the iPhone 7 is going to be a quality, but leave more to be desired product and its gonna have to be iPhone 7S in 2017 that will have a real radical design. :(

I wish Apple would hurry up with their OLED tech. The iPhone won't be shockingly good until the entire front face is a screen. Too many bezels and borders.
