I'd go with the discount. No offense to Incase, but I wouldn't trust their headphones at all. They're new to the product, I'd be much more comfortable with Bowers headphones or Sennheiser.

true incase are new to the market. i should prob try em at the apple store next time im there.

what do you think of the bag?

im leaning towards the discount but who doesnt love accesories! lol

Incase seems to sell those headphones for $100 on their own site. Not sure about the DSLR bag so the discount is what I would take. It's more plausible to me.

I would take the discount over the other 2 simply because I think you can definitly get better headphones and i am not a huge cam bag fan so idk about that.

Definitely the $125. I would say that's the best deal, you can probably find some headphones online that are cheaper and better and the DSLR bag is nice, but definitely not as good as getting $125 off your computer. If you're using a student discount just make sure that it will take off on top of that.

The bag is good, but do you see yourself needing it? It may be a want for you, but is it a need? However, the discount is both a want and need!

Use the $125 coupon and buy a decent pair of headphones (Sennheiser, Sony, AKG, reputable brand names) and a camera bag from eBags. Fatwallet has 11% off instant cashback on eBags right now.

looks like leaning towards the discount as the majority of you recomend it as the "best overall deal".

it was fun picking accesories though :D

Always always always take an actual discount over any free item. Money is more valuable, even if the retail price is higher than the discount you're getting. In real life, you would probably never buy either of those, but who wouldn't take a free $125?

you are right, in real life, id never spend 169 dollars on that bag.

though i never had a nice pair of headphones before lol.

i assume you would agree with the other guy, the best option would be take "take the money" and knock off 125 off the retina macbook?

Do you need direction when on the toilet as well?

Make a decision and execute that decision. Christ.

Well I already have a Manfrotto, Tumi backpack, and beats studio, so I would pick the discount.

But if I was in your situation, I would go for what is worth the most, which is the bag. You can opt for the discount but you may end up buying a more expensive bag than the discount. And what if you decide to return the rMBP? Hehe. Well I guess that should be discussed in another thread.

well...my other option is cancel the retina macbook, get one of the free acessories and keep (not sell) my 2011 15inch base macbook with anti glare...lol

Take the money. If you really want a nice pair of headphones, use the $125 towards that - $125 on a reputable brand can get you pretty decent headphones.

What everyone else has pretty much said. Take the discount. Everything @ the Apple store is inflated, and can typically be found on sale somewhere else with a few exceptions.

Incase headphones? Wtf?
