The incase headphones can be found at much cheaper prices. With discounts I ordered one this past week for like $68. I'm going to be using them as my beater headphones I put in my bag with my macbook.

Incase was offering the ability to buy a $50 gift card "coupon" (You couldn't stack it) for $25. Plus if you bought a second item you got another $10 off the second one. I bought a bag first and then the headphones. The headphones are on sale even on the Incase website for $100 (The Gray-white/Orange ones I got at least)

Woot has had them on sale even cheaper, but I missed them.

They won't arrive till later this week. I can let you know then. I have Sennheiser HD598 and Audio Technica ATH-AD700's to compare them to.

My personal experience

I have the smaller non "Pro" version of the Sling pack.

https://goincase.com/m/#product/Bags/CL58058

The fabric material that it is made with is very good and there are a lot of compartments inside. I was able to put my NEX mirrorless body with 3 lens, wide angle converter, polaroid camera, and all the accessories with still quite a bit of room left. There is also a compartment for an iPad or 11" Macbook Air. I'd assume that the Pro version would be equally well (if not better) built. I also looked at the TimBuk2 Snoop camera messenger and the Crumpler million dollar home series before I ended up getting this one because I like the look of it better (and the TimBuk2 brand "tax" was too high in my opinion).

I also own the Sonic headphone although I've never use a good over-the-ear headphones before (I'm a big Shure in-ear person; I own the E3c, E4c and SE420). Sound quality is pretty good with not too overwhelm base (unlike the Dr Dre Beat series) but the high-end can be too "bright" sometime. Before I got this I have cross-shopped it with the AudioTechnica cans but went with the Incase because it is a very comfortable headphone and it looks very modern with minimal branding. I wear it almost the whole day at work. One other downside of it is that I've heard complains from my friends when I use the bulit-in mic that it picks up high frequency sound (like door squeaks).

Now, with all that I'd still take the $125 if I were you. Why? Because Incase often have deals like the previous posters mentioned (I didn't buy any of my stuff at full-price). The Sonic is a good headphone but not at $150, IMO. I also dont think that the Pro dSLR ling will suit you if you are not going to use it with camera gears.

Hope it helps!

Just to give everyone an update, ive decided on the bag or the discount.

i think the bag would be useful for college stuff, though my concern is i dunno if it can be carried like a messanger bag

u have a manfrotto? what kind? i have the 290 series tripod, they make good quality stuff. the bag i prob would never buy, hence why i consideredit, and the headphones, i only ever had the ipod headphones lol. cant decide :s.

Surprisingly, Best Buy carries this particular bag. It looks great and does a great job carrying all my gear to include my rMBP. It's only $99 I believe.

I have a the 290 series tripod like yours too :)

what do you think of the incase bag i linked in my original post?

i think its awesome but my concern is its a sling type bag, and im not sure if it can even be worn like a mesanger type bag

I believe the strap orientation for a sling type bag differs from a messenger bag.

I can't comment on the Incase because I am more of a backpack person. I just like to wear it and not worry about it. Messenger or sling type bags is just too unstable and gets in the way, IMO.
