The thing I like about ios is how it reflects real life, how its transparent to real life. for example - When i go about normal life fireworks dont go off. Yet when I goto a cinema there are lights and visuals as I enter the cinema to make the event special and entertaning.

apps can provide the lights and visuals and the rest of IOS provides the normal everyday feel. Without this contrast everything would be bling bling in my face and i'd get bored and have sensory overload very quick.

Its very yin/yang

I agree with that. Try the official Xbox app to see how your phone can spring to life.

100% agree!

I installed that, and seeing my avatar running between screens on the iPad version was great!

Right now, Apple is milking their past iPhone glory for all it's worth. You can't blame them, but wonder if this is all they got for the iPhone or will the move ahead like Microsoft did with their new phone OS.

My air conditioner is starting to bore me, it's old technology, I mean sure, it's efficient and keeps me perfectly cool, but sometimes I just wish it had some colorful lights, maybe a siren.
