The thing I like about ios is how it reflects real life, how its transparent to real life. for example - When i go about normal life fireworks dont go off. Yet when I goto a cinema there are lights and visuals as I enter the cinema to make the event special and entertaning.
apps can provide the lights and visuals and the rest of IOS provides the normal everyday feel. Without this contrast everything would be bling bling in my face and i'd get bored and have sensory overload very quick.
Its very yin/yang
