What happened? You people dropped the ball on getting your product out soon enough.. Losing lots of bucks here as time goes on.

Your cases maintain their shape and do not crack or split, as in teh bamboo cases? Is the inside lined? How does the case hold together as in your throwing against a wall when it appears it just snaps together?

thanks

We'd rather lose some dough now than put something out that we're not proud of. Someone's always going to be faster than us to market with a case. No one is going to be faster to market with OUR case. :)

Our cases are the strongest and most durable natural material cases out there. There's quite a few wood and bamboo cases on the market, (some even more well known for breaking) and a Twig Case will outlast them all. That said, it's not meant to be thrown, tossed down stairs, or beat with a hammer. They're strong, but they're not made by Stark Industries.

The case is held on to the iPhone by friction of microsuede - we use the thickest in our product category - which also cushions the iPhone better. The bottom half is actually designed to come off more easily, to accommodate some of the bigger charging cables, and docks, alarm clocks etc that are out there.

How many designs will be ready for release?

I love the look of this case and I can appreciate what you're trying to do, do you ship to the UK and when do you expect the first cases to arrive for sale?
Thanks.

We ship worldwide, among other places, lots of Twig Cases have gone to Norway, Australia - and it seems Japan has just discovered us! We are doing all we can to be shipping by the Ides of October.

Thanks, is there any incentive to paying the $20 pre-order over waiting for the stock at arrive and just paying then?

Well, I believe there are reasons threefold.

1 - You've got yourself a spot on the list - we'll be shipping in order of pre-order purchase, and to be honest, response has been pretty overwhelming, so shipping times may increase.

2. Your pre-order gets you the introductory price, which will end when the pre-orders end. So consider it a early bird worm scenario. Worms being dollars, and you being a bird with more of them.

3. It's helping us gauge demand and costs, which helps us keep a roof over our heads so we can make more cool things. (Of which there is lots on the horizon. Apple makes quite a few things we're planning to accessorize in one way or another. )

4. Number 3 was actually the last reason.

I've never been real impressed with anything on Gizmodo's site. Sometimes it looks like it's run by a couple of kids working out of their mom's basement.

Just sayin'.....
