Is that battery powered? Can it be set so that if it becomes seperated from you, like you like accidently dropping it, it will go off? Does it glue to your phone?

Is that battery powered? Can it be set so that if it becomes seperated from you, like you like accidently dropping it, it will go off? Does it glue to your phone?
From looking at the video, it appears to be a sealed battery. The thing I was wondering about, is how long will the battery last, i.e., 1 year, 2 years?
