If you lived here in America, you would know that it is not. Not here, anyway.

Apple should just reuse Newton and be done with it...
Is it just me or do they use the Fujitsu iPads as POS in Apple Stores?
We can only hope. We can only hope.Maybe Apple could intentionally lose this one to get rid of the name...
I use them at the retail business I work at. I know this is going to sound fanboy-ish, but I really, really, really hate those damn things. Coworkers avoid them like the plague as they're such a pain.
Just pay Fujitsu off and forget about it.
"It's our understanding that the name is ours," Masahiro Yamane, director of Fujitsu's public relations division, said Thursday. He said Fujitsu was aware of Apple's plans to sell the iPad tablet and that the company was consulting lawyers over next steps."
Is it also their understanding that they abandoned the trademark only to resurrect it in June in anticipation of Apple possibly using it ?

The stock is taking a hit, in part because of all the humorous backlash concerning maxipads and such. Talk about a public relations disaster, this is one if I've ever seen one.
I do remember that. I guess this is a case of 'what goes around, comes around'.I'm with fujitsu on this one.. Looks like Steve has some karma coming to him.. anyone remember the iPodRip??
"Apple, known for vigorously protecting its trademark and brand names, had a problem with the app because it had the iPod brand name in its name. When the Little App Factory CEO John Devor emailed Steve Jobs regarding the issue, the CEO fired back a two-sentence reply:
Change your apps name. Not that big of a deal.
