This is a great hack, but I had to delete it, because it took away, a lot of efficiency from Safari's double tap to zoom gesture, even when the double tap gesture wasn't being used in the hack.
It made it feel like I was using an Android browser or something. :D

There was an update a while back that added "none" to assign to gestures.

I have assigned the "none" to the double tap gesture to retain its original zoom/unzoom and works great.

I had that gesture assigned to 'None' also, but I still found that the zoom was nowhere as fast as it was, and was less accurate also, when it came to zooming on text. YMMV.

Yes you are right, I just deleted it and the zoom is a little faster, more responsive.

I'm gonna keep it off until the next update mostly because the bottom buttons(prev page, next page, bookmarks) were unresponsive at times.

At first it didn't bother me as much but it eventually got to me.

Here's hoping the update fixes these little issues.

Yeah. I'll be keeping an eye on this hack though, as I found the 'double-tap and short hold' option to be the most natural way to toggle full screen.
It just needs some optimisations so it doesn't hinder Safari's performance.

New update for this app. They've added "Show Action PopUp" which was shown in an earlier post with all the buttons at once on the screen. Also added one finger tap and short hold, and one finger double tap and short hold.

You can also add a URL address and select one of the gestures to automatically go to that website.

Even though I like this app, to be honest, there's too much going on with it.

Thanks for the heads up.

The native double tap to zoom/unzoom is still the same, not as fast.

Still need to play with all the new gestures to see how comfortable they feel.

More choices for each gesture is a welcome.

Not really feeling the popup but that was a given for me.

with the update, now i thoroughly enjoy this tweak!

set triple tap to fullscreen,

double tap with hold to go back, and triple tap to go forward.

the thing is, single tap with hold doesn't seem to work, so double tap with hold is more like tap+tap hold...so it's really not too much work to go back and go forward...

and set shake to show popup actions, which is ideal to scroll tabs!

overall, it is much more useful now than before, and since i can go back and go forward seemlessly, my safari is constantly in fullscreen mode! Whooops!

great!

I've been playing around with it and the "Show Action PopUp" screen is pretty useful. I have it set to "One Finger Tap and short Hold" (just tap, let go, tap and hold for a split second in one fast motion) and I'm able to do everything with just one hand.

I still have other actions linked to the other gestures but now I'm able to do everything with just my thumb. No need for two hands (2 finger swipe, 3 finger tap, etc..)

Does this work with the iPad? If not I would love to see that feature in the next update.

I finally gave up Atomic because Safari works natively with the Download Manager. I don't care for the tabs on Atomic either. With User Agent Faker in my SBSettings, I can also quickly toggle for it to be Safari or any other browser. Only thing I miss about atomic is the "Top of Page" arrow that you can add to your browser quick actions.
