Maybe it's just me, but I'm not all that interested in this.

You're right, it is you

Justin Long should not have been picked for Steve Jobs.. Kutcher would have been a better choice... Long will ruin the movie.. and that jerk who plays Wozniak.. doesn't even look like Wozniak at all...

I say throw tomatos at Long... he will make this movie suck..

It is already out, why don't you just watch it, instead of guessing

Sounds like they were going for the "so bad it's good" approach.

Agreed... but maybe they needed to go "badder". I watched the first 10 minutes and have absolutely no interest in seeing any more. Which brings up something interesting I just realized... The book "Jobs" is sitting partially read for months, up to the chapter where Jobs and Woz meet. Am I moving on?

Pretty sure that was FoD trying to be funny or mysterious or something... not sure. And it's not nice to call him a jerk.

...and Dell 'we just make cheap ass computers for cheap ass college students'....lol...so true

I actually thought it was quite funny, It's definitely not based on the book or any fact!

Basically, there isn't a single shred of historical accuracy to this movie. And it's not funny either. 'DIE', for sure.

Don't do this, big dog.

That's like saying Spaceballs didn't accurately portray Star Wars if Star Wars was a historical event.

Personally, I thought it was hilarious. The re-writing of history is exactly what makes it funny.

Biopics are typically produced with an exaggerated rose tinted view of the main protagonist and this parodies the whole genre by taking it to massive extremes

The movie was great! It was what it was suppose to be. the only complaint i have is that if you watch it and don't know the history of apple and Steve people might think it is a funny account of how things happened when in reality it only has about 2 or 3, 90% distorted facts in it.

Felt like the first draft of a first-year film school student's screenplay. Not accurate, not funny, not a good parody, not even a good story. Production value was on par with a made-for-TV film, maybe. The only part I actually enjoyed was the extended and ignored handshake attempt from Woz to Gates. That was hilarious. Otherwise it just gave me that uncomfortable-for-everyone-involved gut response. Filmmaking is hard. It's a different world from 3-minute spoof videos designed to get a quick laugh.

We've seen actual, belly laughing funny Jobs & Apple parody in the past. This is just a B movie disguised as parody because it's so bad and unfunny. Really, it's just an 80 min link bait.

Those two pictures at the start of this thread are really annoying me, can someone please remove them, I like J Long but that smug look is hurting my eyes...arrrrrrrrghhh

Yes. And he was actually good in those commercials, probably should have passed on this thing.

He's likely very hungry for work. It's common for actors to be turned away from new work because they're to recognizable as the spokesperson for another company. Unfortunately, he'll forever be known as that 'Apple Guy'.
