Future OS X Names Could Include Sequoia, Mojave, Sonoma and Ventura

Back in ye olden tymes 10.8 would have been 10.7.5, and 10.9 would have been... erm... 10.7.10. Actually I'm not sure either 10.8 or 10.9 would have warranted more than a 'point one' increment in System 7 / Mac OS 8 days.

What are the chances that it will no longer be OS X and will be OS XI? I think that they just might change it to XI. 10.10 just doesn't seem to make sense to me.
No matter what they name it i want it.
Stop obsessing over the version number, it's not really mentioned anymore.
Apple will just call it the 11th OS X release and give it a cool California name.

after SL era...other osx became a train wreck....well...10.8 was actually decent...but anyhow.

For the record, Ventura is both a city and a county. And Sequoia is the name of a national forest, but not of a national park. The park is called Sequoia-Kings Canyon.

Judging by the banners, I'd say we're in store for an OS X named after Yosemite.
I feel like this is a good time as any to point out that Kings Canyon is a massively underrated national park and if you're ever in California to see Sequoia or Yosemite, you are criminally negligent if you don't also visit Kings Canyon. In fact, skip Yosemite; it is a polluted, overcrowded, deeply depressing place if you care at all about nature (and hopefully the OS named after it will be a lot better).
Also you should visit Acadia. No national parks list is complete without Kings Canyon and Acadia.
Anyway, hopefully 10.10 will be good, yeah?

Again for the record, the park is called Sequoia-Kings Canyon. This is one National Park. Sequoia-Kings Canyon is Yosemite without the crowds. We go almost every year. I almost hate to mention it and spoil it for those in the know.
Mavericks is decent. Actually, it's pretty good. Lion and Mountain Lion were just fails. Especially Lion. So there's that.
i'm just stating...why all these new os x when they should focus on improving whatever bugs before moving on to next os x...it looks like os x is less efficient (unlike SL) these days....it's as if they just don't care about os x.
