OS X Fur Burger.
No its not XI cause XI would be OS11 and not 10
What happens when Apple runs out of name ? They did with Big Cats..
As long as they don't have a "th" sound in the name, I doubt many people will have trouble with it.
They should keep os x for a few years before moving on.
What source? Give me a link.
the picture is of a cliff not a mountain. True, the cliff is the side of a mountain, but it is still only a cliff. But, that cliff is very, very flat, as you know. Therefore, that is another hint that it will be a flat GUI!
This is really lame.. Apple, it's time to change the name of OS X or the number..
I mean, come on... OS Ten Ten Point Ten. Seriously?
Named after things California is know for.
First two things that come to mind is Expensive and Over Regulated.
It is neither a cliff nor a mountain. The photo is of the granite domes that define the Yosemite Valley.
So close Kevin. So close......
Such wow, much world
You miss the point, a Lion is not a defined location. Mavericks and Yosemite are delimited locations in the US. Anyway, go California go. You like it or not.
OS-X Ten-Eleven Mojave.
My Swag is on Mojave for the next OS-X version(10.11) - Then Sequoia & Mammoth. => Ocean, Mountain, Desert, Forest, Snow - A clear progression, with a distinct visual motif for each. Check back in three or four years! But by then, the iOS/OSx merger will probably bring Apple to another series, S-Xi?
Naming your OS after a crappy STATE is lame.
I really liked the animal names!!
I think the places and thing names are terrible!
Not Named after a State.
Not sure what you mean. The locales now known as Mavericks, Yosemite, Mojave & Mammoth etc were there for milenia before the California Republic arrived. Plus, one in eight USa residents have chosen to live in Ca, more than any other State. And, of course, it's the location of the Apple base camp in Silicon Valley. So, how bad can it be?
Isn't it obvious;
OSX 10.11 Golden Gate
Say's the guy living in Connecticut.
