That's the first time I've heard that. From my experience Android users bash Siri much more often and without ever having used it.

Really? Find a thread about Siri on an android forum that isnt a link to an iPhone forum.

Then just look at this forum. There are literally two thread from apple users going on right now.

I generally prefer android but I think apples Siri is better then googles talk.

When you can consider the Galaxy Nexus phone as nothing all that great and still think the 4S screen is so much sharper and better, then you have reached a whole new level of blind loyalist.

i have both phones as i'm very much undecided on which to keep, and can tell you with no bias at all, that the 4S has a sharper image.

dont know what it is, perhaps the PPI effect, but the 4S is definitely sharper.

To continue. I do think it's funny when some post a thread like "what do you hope for in the iPhone 5".

Then all I see listed is things android phones already have.

Just an observation.

Yeah, yeah let's not start that up. How about my friend's Bionic that can't smoothly zoom a webpage? Bone stock, but who says a user has to root their phone just to get smooth webpage zooming? And yeah, yeah, ICS... the OS most android phones don't have yet, will fix things.

I walked in to a AT&T story to check out phones and unfortunately wasted a part of my lunch examining a Samsung Skyrocket. I had to boot the phone and it reminded me of XP: you have to wait until all the background apps stop loading. I swear AT&T purposely sets these phones to run like total dogs.

I noticed the same thing. But it's not something that I can't live with. I didn't buy a GSM version during a recent sale only because I couldn't find any real world HSPA+ reviews.

I can afford to experiment with a new phone. If a iPhone 5 is released with a bigger screen I can switch back. If not well at least I bought a good phone.

for me, both phones while good, neither is the exciting new thing i really wanted when upgrading from a 3GS.

i'm leaning toward the 4S right now as it's guaranteed to provide higher resale value 10 months from now when i sell the thing for a new LTE Iphone or an Apollo Windows phone.

If you believe that forum posts represent a significant portion of actual users, well, I don't know what to tell you besides you're wrong. You're part of a small, but vocal community.

How about I give you real-world remarks from being part of tech company with 500+ people in the US? I talk to people who have no intention of rooting their Android phones. I talk to people who love rooting their Android phones. Do I have to post their stories?

That's exactly how I feel. I can play with a new phone for 8 months, give or take, my girlfriend can take my iP4, and she can give her 3GS to her mom. Money isn't an issue either. I can afford to buy an off-contract GN, but that camera just killed it. It doesn't make sense to buy now when new phones are just around the corner.

I had a chance to play with iPhone 4S. It is a solid phone, fast, slick but Siri is so overrated. At the time I had my hands on the phone, Siri didn't work 2/3 of the time. She said that she was currently unavailable. And when she worked, she didn't perform well.

Anyway, when it comes to Galaxy Nexus. The OS finally is very clean, fluid, great in every aspect. Good job Google! However on the hardware side, there are some issues. The build quality should be better. The camera is sub par. The speed and the display are great!

If Samsung learns from their mistakes and improve three things: build quality, camera and battery life, the S III will be the perfect phone for me!

imo Samsung has already "outdone" themselves in terms of plastic quality on the nexus. Despite being made with plastic, it feels much more sturdy and solid than e.g. the Galaxy S II. There is a nice soft touch feeling to the plastic used on the nexus. Of course if we want something better made in the Android world, we need HTC...

You quoted a post that was not directed at you.

My post when I posted it was that on androidcentral there were zero people talking about how bad Siri was/is.

While at the same time there were multiple threads of how bad Siri was/is on this sub forum.

Not which is better or worse.

I have no idea what you are going on about and frankly I don't care. Tell someone else how important you are

I prefer Siri anyway like I've mentioned many times before.
