It's about that time we start getting the leaks. Here's the most recent Fold7 leak from today. Looking forward to the Flip7 leaks. I'll most likely get the Flip7, but the Fold7 is very tempting this year.

6.5-inch outer display and an 8.2-inch inner display, only 4.5mm thick when opened and 9.5mm when folded.

I'm a sucker for nostalgia so the Flip 7 might be one I'll try. Every year when they release people sell them for pretty cheap on marketplaces as they get these at low cost due to trade in deals. I think I'll pick one up.

Seeing the Z Fold 6 is 6.3" outer screen and rumored Z Fold 7 to be 6.5" I'm praying its not significantly and only barely taller than the Z Fold 6. I saw the Oppo Find N5 which is a great product but man that tallness is NOT for me at all. Small hands and I really like the Z Fold 6 and may just purchase that and be happy with it as my first foldable or wait for the Z Fold 7. 3rd round of renders will sway my decision.
 
Needs a higher resolution inner selfie camera for better under display camera quality videos during Zoom etc. I'm hoping TM Roh and others travel more globally and have others talk bad about the image quality as feedback so better changes during development is made before final production spec is settled upon.

The Fold 7 could be the one that gets me to switch from iPhone but god knows what the price will be. Maybe the usual pre-order offers will make it somewhat palatable. I've had the chance to play around with a S25 Ultra and that felt really snappy vs my 15 pro max.

Same as you I’m gonna wait and see how them trade-in values are posted on release.

Shane mentioned it would be close to the SE edition

It's going to be pretty much the 6 SE, which the Fold 6 should of been. Don't get me wrong, the Fold 6 is a great device and I enjoy mine. But Samsung deciding to release the Fold 6 SE 3 months afterwards... rubbed me the wrong way.

Part of me, won't buy the Fold 7... just because of that.

I totally get it, they most definitely snubbed us. I'm totally cool with waiting on Fold 8.

That's because that's the side where it has to meet the other half and make up a straight edge. You can't do that with a rounded corner. 🤷‍♂️

I get you. But think of it as a test bed for ONLY releasing the Fold 6 SE w/no S-Pen support, new UTG glass (created after Fold 6 release date), slightly adjusted hinge mechanism, in 2 markets that were assured to buy it and treat it not too carefully to test product quality in rugged use.

Think all of that as extra R&D refining the product!
Me I'm glad they did. I'm suspectingyou will as well in 2 months since you didn't go for the Oppo N5 nor Honor orGoogle foldable yet.

And why? Cause you KNOW there is more to Samsung Galaxy products than the hardware ;)

If the fold 7 is the SE while being lighter and having maybe anti reflective display I think it will be worth buying. Software it was already the king but if they get these hardware features then I will likely buy it.

Only downside will be battery size

I'm likely going to wait for the tri-fold... I want to see how that looks and the features for it. I normally don't upgrade annually anyways... I would have been skipping the Fold 7 regardless.

But that tri-fold... definitely interested in it.
