Everyone knows. The issue is prices for 7 Plus 128gb have fallen DRAMATICALLY; selling at about $525 before about $50 in swappa & paypal fees and shipping; and dont have to deal with paypal scams or empty box scams. There are about 50 for sale on swappa right now all competing for buyers lowballing.
Cash in pocket is better than you know what in hand with no phone and no money.
They are offering $170 for a 6S. Any better way to sell it? Craigslist / Ebay seem to be yielding $250 or so.

Go on their site there is prices based on condition (cracked screen)
Just did this. Got $480 minus $30 (technically $32.09 with tax). Owe ATT $398.27
Still the easiest $50 for 15 minutes of my time. Pays for half of my Applecare for a year.

Dont waste your breath, people need to read their ATT Next financing contract and look in ATT's site forums. Everywhere says it is done routinely. A simple google search of "att sell phone before paid off" will yield even ATT website forums where it's said to be ok to do.
The ONLY caveat is the phone will stay locked to ATT (cannot be unlocked) until paid off.
I just sold mine to Gamestop and my next ATT bill will have the $398.27 balance included which I will promptly pay off with part of my Gamestop cash given to me. By the time Gamestop refurbs them, as the rep there said they have a hold period first (I assume since it's technically a "pawn" if you come back and want your phone back and give the money back?), and then go to a 3rd party for refurb, it will be paid off.

I tried to sell via swappa - there are virtually no transactions for 7+ 128 Jet Black for the last few days on Swappa. Not sure what's up. I priced it slightly above 480 at like 535 or so. Gamestop took it in-took 10 minutes. EZ. and yep they give cash

Cash out of the register. Best deal out there. If you have 2 you only pay the $30 once so you'd get $960 minus $30 for the 2. I think you have to go to 2 stores, only 1 per store, but still not that much effort.
Swappa prices are barely hanging onto a $525 sold average today. Swappa is just flooded right now and prices are way down versus even 5 days ago.
Even $535, deduct Swppa $20, $16 of paypal fees, and $10 shipping, so your already down to $485 if you can get $535 even.
The $450 net guaranteed cash money is the solid deal right now
Same here. Didn’t want to bother with CL or eBay. Plus gotta keep the charger and cable. Need t keep them in mind come next year.
Multiple SIM cards just tell them it’s ATT model make sure att sim card works in it

I sold my jet black 7+ 128 gig today to a guy on craigslist had no problem sale was easy as can be and I sold it for $450. I owed $362 to Att for this phone. So I make $90 or so for literally 10 minutes of meeting a guy in person in a public place and selling my phone. I've been doing this the last couple years and never had a problem.
I learned last year in order to take advantage of the upgrade every year you had to make 12 payments so in August I paid off my last two payments to for fill my 12 payments so that when the new phone came out I would be eligible for an upgrade.

Take it with ATT sim. If it shows att it’s worth more.

I'll have to find me a ATT sim to bring in then.. that is the only issue I'll have. Maybe I'll buy a guy at work lunch if he lets me use his SIM for 20 minutes..
