AppleCare is a rip-off, and it just gets worse now. My Amex and MasterCard do everything Apple Care does, including loss and theft, and it has no annual fee. Just get a new CC if yours doesn’t do the same.
Credit cards offer accidental damage for 90 days. AC is 2 years. Huge difference.

I'm not convinced we wont see one today. If you go to apples site, iPhone and iPad have "be right back" messages while the Mac section and other are still normal. Doesn't prove they will, but just saying

It's not going to flop. $1,000, $1200...it won't matter. People have disposable income. Economy is roaring.

Agreed. While things might collapse in a few years as of now everyone has credit and can afford these things. They'll just pay in monthly installments.

The new watch looks pretty nice and I think I'm finally going to buy one, but other than that, pretty underwhelming. Not terrible, but nothing that exciting. They keep pushing these AR game demos but they rarely seem to materialize into anything that's real-world interesting or useful.

Just incredible, just amazing, the fastest ever, most advanced, most powerful, biggest ever. I don't remember Apple keynote was this annoying. All people keynote presenters repeat this terms again and again.

Based on Apple.com, the Xs AppleCare is 200 or 300. you don't have to pay for the loss/theft if you don't want it.

Edit, apparently putting the S in brackets activates strike through!
