It's similar to Aidan, at least in rythm. The Au part can be pronounced in two ways. None of which can be written easily in English. I pronounce it as a diphthong that begins like the norwegian letter ø, that's similar to the vowel sound in the english "fur" and "sir". The vowel glides into the vowel sound similar to the english "put". The second "u" in Audun is also pronounced similar to the "u" in "put". I don't think English uses the exact correct "u" sound, it should be like the u's in latin "futurum", I think.iGary said:So I would pronounce that - Aw-doon?

but as a few of us here at UMass were discussing it, i thought i should put the question out there- how many of you fine folks will be joining us in massachusetts soon? i guess the broader question is how many folks are planning to re-locate to marry or in the case of Vermont, civilly unite?

I definitely want to marry someday and by someday I mean as soon as possible. But I think that being happy with one's location is more important than marriage, so I wouldn't move from wherever I was. Being married isn't going to make a relationship stronger. No matter how many labels you give a relationship, the relationship is what it is and not what it's called. So, I suppose you could say that even if I don't have marriage rights wherever I live with my significant other, I'm still married to that person in my heart and that's all that matters. That was so mushy-gooshy, please forgive me
.

Goodnight everyone.

) and watch it there if I want, which is really nice.

Emerson, are you sleeping in a bunk, or a tree house waiting for Tarzan to swing by.scem0 said:I can bring my laptop up to my bed (which is kind of dangerous, it's elevated 8 feet of the ground) and watch it there if I want, which is really nice._Emerson
I know that feeling only too well. We have some crazies driving down here. I won't go into their ethnicities, but my laptop always wears his seatbelt when we go out together.Frozone said:All my stuff ended up sitting on the dashboard. (Bet my brother's glad I won't let him ride with me unless he wears his seatbelt)
