If I felt I could sell the phone fairly quickly without any headaches then I'd definitely go the CL route. I've done it before and dealing with the scammers, low ballers and people promise to show up, and don't can make it a pain to deal with.

I view, that time is money and if I can easily trade in my phone for some quick cash that's better

Absolutely true. I'm lucky in working in a hospital with a security guard, I just have people meet me at the front lobby. But I do admit in my more naive days I have sold phones and tablets out of my car, several times in fact, I won't do that again though.

Ahh too bad, it does me no good then as I buy my phones unsubsidized/full price.

Hmm you think you will get that much? I'm seeing 32gb ones listed for a long time at $550, I have my 32gb listed at $545 and no bites in the last 3 days. Although my area is very metropolitan so maybe there are too many phones on CL.

I hope so, I had a guy offer me $600 2 weeks ago and didn't bite. Smh it was stupid of me not to take it.

Hmm, my 32gb has been sitting on CL at $545 for 3 days now and no bites, not even a scammer. Might have to blow it out for $500.

Gazelle offers an excellent and reliable service, but not the best prices for instant trade-in sites. I have used BuyBackWorld and have been very pleased. My friends and I will be sending in our iphones to a few different companies to test their reliability, speed, and customer service. We will be selling our iPhones and a few Blackberries (GASP) to Gazelle buybackworld nextworth and trying our the Amazon Tradein service. I'll report back our findings within the next couple of weeks.
