And yes my skin is perfectly centered.

I think the easy fix is to make the cut out for the lens and flash larger. Maybe a hole punch will do the job.

Sending http://www.gelaskins.com a link to this thread. Hopefully they will fix the issue.

This is too bad!

I was going to order one too, I'll wait and see if they sort this out before I do!

thx for the info

this is discouraging...i was planning on getting one. I thought that the reflecting flash thing was only an issue for cases that were clear in the back, hence people "fixing" this issue with a black sharpie on the plastic case. will also be interested in seeing if other people have a similar problem or if it is skin design dependent

Don't think it's dependent on the artwork printed on the skin cuz my design is mostly black.

find it hard to believe that would cause a flash issue its almost on the money. damn shame looks like ill be skipping this..

on a side note, its odd a skin is doing it bc the feather doesnt cause any problems.

Looks like it's about 0.5mm off, vertically. I don't know if that's enough to make a difference, but ...

Makes no difference, I was able to nudge the skin over and I still get that flash artifact.

This bums me out. I ordered a skin from them too, thing is I asked a question on twitter if their skins messed with the flash and they said no.

thanks for the info. I guess I'll just get a case that blocks the back unless they update their product in the 3 wks it takes for me to get the phone (it's an exercise in delayed gratification for a person who prefers instant gratification :p)

wonder if making the flash hole larger with a hole punch will solve the issue. As stupid/silly/pointless as it may sound, I had planned on putting something like the zagg or powersupport crystal film on the front and back and then putting the skin over that. That way if I chose to change out the skins, It didn't matter if lint got stuck between the skin and the phone from the static charge that happens from pulling those things off. So then do those protectors like zagg/powersupport also interfere with the flash?

What did you expect them to say? ;)

I wonder when I get my Gelaskin if I should take a razor and enlarge the hole a bit and see if that help or use the black magic marker trick used on the Griffin Reveal cases.
XRAYTECH, have you thought of doing either of those things? Definetly curious if that remedies it.

Thinking of taking a hole punch to the LED hole. Will try later today.

Has anyone obtained a response from Gelaskins on the issue? Would be curious to see what they suggest.

Now this is very interesting...

When taking close up photos, the flash artifact is gone. Hmm...

That's actually how it works. It's the same with cases that mess up the flash as well. When taking a wide/not up close photo the flash spreads and causes the issue.

so has anyone come up with a solution!?, i was right about to order a custom one when i saw this!!:(
