Gelaskins now available for iPhone 4!

ya i hope the raised edges is just an isolated issue because i have one comming on friday that i want to pair with my bumper hopefully and its going to be dissapointing if thats the case.

When you apply the skin, make sure there's a millimeter of reveal around the skin. That fixes the lifted edges.

Not. Mine is perfectly aligned. If they were slightly wider so they went all the way to the edge, the problem would likely not occur.
 
They must have adjusted the size over the overall skin, as well as the flash hole. I ordered one when they came out, but ordered a different one with the new cutout, and the second does seem to have less space along the edges.

Anyhow, here's my custom skin. It's the wanted poster for John Wilkes Booth. I didn't put the sides on. For some reason I think they look a bit cheap when compared to the steel.

I actually have the side pieces from a wrapsol ultra underneath the side pieces of the gelaskins. On the wrapsol layer there is no piece for in between the volume buttons, so the gelaskins is sticking to the metal. There isn't any slack, just a step down from 2 layers to 1 and back again.

The gelaskins is so thin that it doesn't really add any more thickness to the sides.
 
It's almost the end of the week and GELASKIN was supposed to put up a link and info for customers who got the old cut-out skin.:mad:

Made two custom Gelaskin
First one is Hello Kitty on the front just for fun, the back is the White iPhone, second one is Han Ga Eun.
 
What do you guys use to cover the screen on the front? I know the gelaskin will cover the top and bottom of the front but what about the screen itself, is there a custom cut out?

This is going to be the best one EVAR! Just got to find a better pic to get the lights on the sides. Anyone have any better pics? Also, how are you guys getting larger thumb images from gelaskin for a preview?
