I'm not sure if its just me or not, using an extended display with my M4 iPad Pro just feels very sluggish and unpolished sometimes.

Like I can’t get the dock to pop up with the mouse cursor if an app is in full screen or large enough to cover the dock area.

Orientation has been off since the first stage manager implementation. My calorie counting app, Calory for example uses the accelerometer and its off by 90 degrees.

The mouse shaking gesture to make the cursor large is vertical on the external display, horizontal on the iPad screen.

iPad speaker volume can only be adjusted if the cursor is on the iPad screen.

I have an iPad Mini 6 running the latest version of 18 and ran the DB of 26 last year. I also had a mini 7 on 18 that I upgraded to 26.4 or something and I ended up returning it because of it.

Does anybody have a mini 6 or mini 7 on 27? Does the new multitasking work good for you? Is the OS smoother or better for certain tasks?

I love 18 but know at some point I’ll have to get used to the new style. I just wish splitview replaced the full screen option in 26/27.

I have three pads in this house two upgraded to ios 27 and on both of them the trackpad does not work but the keyboard does work.

I have an old ipad which i just use for music and home controls that is running ios 24 place that on the magic keyboard and it works perfectly

I’m not encountering any issues on mine. I’ve been using it throughout the iPadOS 27 Developer Betas without problems. Sorry to hear you’re encountering those issues.

Yes started with this beta on my m5 iPad Pro. Rebooted but it happened twice so far
