Oh, nothing against you personally. And yes, the managers are very well informed (in most cases, I have run into some... less intelligent persons).

But it was just that one part that got me taking a second look. No one at Apple is sly enough to get you to buy a new part or machine, they just don't know.

Short story. Waiting at the Genius bar and a person comes and ask the Genius about a replacement "duck head" the two pronged piece for your MB power adaptor.

The Genius tells her they don't replace them, and that she could get a new power adaptor for $80. I told her to call Apple Care and have them send her one for $10.... or just use the extension cord. The Genius just didn't know about that service.

funny mine was a little loose so i went to the apple store and the "genius" gave me a new one on the spot today

Anybody else get the feeling Arrowhead employees are the people responding blindly in defense of Arrowhead Apple? I believe there was a. awful experience & the horribly trained customer service reps for Apple are to blame. Altho, Apple's low wages only get them low wage worthy employees.

I'm not sure it matters at this point given that you just bumped a six year old thread.

I didn't get that impression at all.

I am glad this got bumped, though. I had no idea there was a store at the Arrowhead mall.

Genius gets low wages? In 2010 I was making 2-3x as much as the typical Geek Squad in store agent with a ton more benefits. Might want to check out glassdoor before tossing out misinformation like that.

1. You reopened a thread that was dead for six years.

2. You must have an excellent memory if you were present in the store six years ago, and noticed everything that was happened, and still remember everything after six years. Extraordinary memory. Or could it be that you were not actually there, have no clue what happened and where the complaint came from, and are just generally talking without any actual knowledge?

3. I have found the employees in the Apple Store nearest to my home to be extremely friendly, patient, helpful, and knowledgable. Now many people here are geeks and judging them from a geek's point of view. But the store employees are not trained for obscure knowledge, but to help customers with their problems, and they are very very good at it.
