I will be happy when I never have to hear about this whiney little runt again.
What? I said runt.
At least you used an r.

@Fast/Furious... Why should he have to change his number? I can understand shutting down the blog or what not, but should he pack up and move too because people are retards and might come ringing his doorbell? Regardless of how arrogant you think he is for not giving people a jailbreak that he doesn't have to, everyone is entitled to their own damn privacy.
Seriously, he needs to grow a pair. Super hacker can't change his phone number? Dear lawd... Whatever, someone will replace him. Always will be someone to fill his shoes.
He shouldn't have to change his phone number because impatient morons can't wait for their godly dev-team to release a jailbreak.

Yeah we shouldn't have to have war, crime, poverty etc. So what? Why do these people have his number anyway? And if they do, CHANGE it. I've had to do it once. It's a minor hassle, sure, but so what? If we went about our everyday lives giving up because there are some douchebags in the world, we'd never get anything done.
He's a tosser. Pure and simple. A talented tosser? Sure. But still a tosser. Even showing a "supposed" Jailbreak on the iPhone 4 is a tosser move, like...
"Here, lemme show you a JB'ed iPhone 4. BUT OH WAIT, you're never getting it from me. LATER!"
Tosser.
Whos fault is this? Making your phone number public, or the crazy people calling it???
Couldn't agree more.
It's idiots that feel like they're entitled to a jailbreak or unlock that pisses geohot off. He gets thousands of Twitter messages a day
asking when a new unlock or jailbreak will be released. Almost all of the idiots who ask him hardly speak english, and have no idea what they're talking about. I would have lost it long before now.
I don't blame him. However, he doesn't really mention that he's done hacking forever. Eventually we will see the return of geohot.
It is too bad that all you whiners and haters and entitled brats out there drove Geohot to the point of not wanting to make a release, but I can completely understand his feeling.
That said, I don't think Geohot's completely done hacking the iPhone. He'll continue on the technical side and leave releases to the Dev Team. Probably better for all concerned.
This guy has been a Jack A$$ since the whole ps3 debacle since he never relase a so called hac on the ps3 it forced Sony to remove a good feature and i can go ahead and say F you to geohot.

Why doesn't he just charge for it? I'm assuming there is some legal limitation to charging, but there are plenty of businesses who charge for unlocking if not jailbreaking.
Just get it done with, yeah we are all babies crying for a new release from you, but instead of complaining about it just charge $10 for the jailbreak and have done with it. I could care less if he makes a million bucks, as long as HE stops crying about human nature.
