So this $50 coupon deal is good when trading in a 1st gen iPad mini as well? So $150 trade in + $50 coupon?

No, no trade-in value on the iPad 1. :(

(When you check their on-line website even in good condition with no issues a 64GB iPad 1 receives a value of, "0".)

You are right that iPad 1 isn't eligible, but he is asking about 1st gen Mini.

1st gen Mini should still work.

I wish I could order a SG 64gb or 128gb Cellular one... they don't let you online.

Available for Pickup at These Stores:

We're sorry. This item is not available for Store Pickup in your area.

They will offer me 287 for my 4th gen 64GB 4G model. + $50 = $337, not too bad.

It'll be around $800 after taxes for a $729 MSRP 64GB 4G Air 2...

-$70~ from movers coupon
-$337 trade in + coupon
=~$400~ off
=$400~ total out of pocket cost.

Not sure if its worth that much to me just yet...

test driving an Air2. jailbroke it out of the box.

Used the 10% movers coupon to get a 16gb wifi for $449, and after using $225 gift card (what I got for my iPhone 5), I paid $263 including taxes.

Best buy was giving $175 + $50 coupon ($225 effectively) if I traded in my 16gb wifi rMini at the time of.

Glad I didn't though, I already think I would miss the mini tablet. Plus if I jump ship I'd probably get at least that if not more on Craigslist

But I am enjoying the air, and its speed

I can't tell if its color profiles or not, the screen is nice for the most part ,but my rMini looks nicer looking at a lot of pictures. Very odd, bolder colors (even if not accurate) and sharper because of higher ppi.. I forgot cause I went iPad 3->rMini.

its also not as thin or light as I would have thought, but its certainly a good thin-ness.

Okay so I am doubting any of the Best Buys will get SG models in before this trade in deal is over. Can I order a full price one online and then show up in store with movers coupon and my iPad 3 trade in and have them refund the difference?

When's the $50 deal over?

The Best Buy I purchased my iPad at refused to do the price match for Apple's educational store, and stack the 10% coupon. Oh well. Still got it, and it's an amazing tablet.

I wish I had read this forum and known about the movers coupon before Monday. I traded in my iPad 3 32gb. I also had a HORRIBLE experience at best buy. Took an hour and 20 minutes to complete the trade and purchase the new one to be able to pick it up at another store.

If it was really so bad, maybe you should have taken your money elsewhere?

Another thing about best buy, they used to hassle you several times when buying something for warranties, etc. it was pretty annoying. However, lately it seems like they ask once and the matter is over. I had a very good experience.

Get an extra $50 gift card

If you guys can hold off until next Saturday, November 8, you can snag an extra $50 gift card with the purchase of an iPad Air or iPad Air 2. The trade-in offer is valid through November 8 and the coupon expires on November 15, so if you can wait until next weekend, you might be able to get a pretty amazing deal.

That deal on the Air 2 is available now through 11/8. You don't have to wait. This is what thus whole thread is about.

No. This is in addition to the $50 trade-in coupon that this thread has been talking about. So here is a possible scenario when purchasing a 64GB iPad Air 2 (Wi-Fi):

$250 gift card (gift card from trade-in of original iPad Air 16GB Wi-Fi)
$50 trade-in coupon
$55 discount from mover's coupon
Additional $50 Best Buy gift card to be used towards a future purchase

If you're referring to RyanMCV's post, that deal specifically says, 'One Day Only Deals."

I just checked Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee and they won't match this deal if you bought a new ipad air 2 recently. I think this One day deal falls under this situation:

Does Best Buy price match "free gift with purchase" offers?
No. Best Buy does not price match "free gift with purchase" orders. This includes free gift card with purchase offers.

Hey Ryan, where did you find that promotion?

Hey Ryan, where did you find that promotion?

I received an email from Best Buy with the subject "Save the date: Nov. 8—Holiday shopping event." Here's the link from the email:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/global-...D=640364&SubscriberID=208389219&eut=538192327

Note that this promotion is only taking place "SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2014, 1:00–4:00 P.M. AT SELECT BEST BUY STORES"

Yeah, they are really calling this a 3 hour sale. Best Buy can be super funky on price matching gift cards and especially if it shows as a 3 hour sale.

It could be done in store, but you would have to be ready for a fight.

Also, as I said last night... when I traded my Air, there was no coupon that printed. They wanted to tell me that was only good on the Ipad 2.

That's odd because I had a separate sheet (coupon) that was printed along with my trade-in summary.

Anyways, I'm going to set aside a little time during my errands to see if I can debate myself into an extra $50 bucks from Best buy on that Saturday.

don't they have to have them in stock? I have yet to find one in my area that has any...

Check in the store, in person. Mine told me they were out over the telephone and online store check reflected this. My wife goes in the store the same day to go ahead and return the unopened 16gb version and guess what, they had 64gb in the store.

I'm not sure what is going on but it may be worthwhile to actually go inside if convenient.

You have to print the $50 off coupon? So you go through the on-line process then it pops up?

I walked in with my ipad3, mover's coupon, and 3x coupon. They started with the trade-in process and I mentioned the trade-in promotion, so they made sure to to apply it. When it was all said and done, the rep gave me a trade in summary for my ipad with the gift card for the value. Then the $50 promotion was printed along with that.

I did yesterday and will try again today at lunch...
