I ordered my silver 64gb on Sat. I picked it up this morning. After reading everyone's experiences here, I was prepared. I kind of had to walk them through.
First went to trade-in person with my barely usable iPad2. She said it would be $150 for the trade, and I said, plus the $50 for the promo right? She looked at me funny, and I said, I think it should just print out after the $150. She was surprised when it did.
I then went to the pick up person, told her I wanted to do a return on my order and ring it up again with my discounts. She said the way they have to do it is cancel the order, then resell it to me, and it may take 24-48 hours before the first charge goes away. Okay, I kind of thought that would be the case anyway. I also asked her if she could try putting in the 10% coupon first, and she did after some discussion about whether or not it was good for an iPad purchase. It would have been a very quick process, except I only applied for my BB credit card on Sat. for the 0%, and she had to look up the card. Went through fine when she did the cancel, but the phone rang while ringing up the new purchase. She was talking on the phone, and walking away a few times, while trying to get my transaction through. I had to input my SS# 7 times. She couldn't understand why she was having trouble. I planned to go in there in chill mode, so went easy on the coffee this morning. I just kept smiling.
So, I started at $781 and ended up at $504. Thank you all for the info and your experiences.
