Everything I have is apple. Love my iMac, and iPad Air 2. I did get the 6s+ and got bored with it. Looks
just like my iPad except I can make calls on it. I gave the iPhone to my niece and purchased a Note 5. I've
had the Note 5 for a little over 3 months now, and I like it very much. The only thing I miss is selling my
iPhone 5. When I'm in the garden all day, it sure fits in my pocket a lot better. I might buy the new iPhone
SE as a secondary phone.

Just a FYI if you want to sell you iPhone 6s+ now is the time. I put my 64gb rose gold up on CL for $700, and got a text 10 minutes later asking $675. 10 more minutes and he was in the parking lot with the money. Fastest sale ever lol.

Glad I'm on JOD. Second hand Android phones are no where near as easy to flip.

I think the reason people are getting bored is because Apple keeps releasing the same phone two years in a row. Enough with the S generation! Can't they just get it right the first time and then release a new model the next year? I definitely know that I'm getting bored with the S model. I enjoyed the 6 and I'm enjoying the 6S plus but at the same time it's the same effin design!

It looks like the 7 will be more of the same. The only real trick they had left up their sleeves was a larger phone. I expect nothing but small iterations for the next 2 years.

I think it will be a fairly substantial upgrade; buts the conversation is in the meaning of small and substantial.

My junk folder has a lot too.

I went from iPhone 1, 3GS, 4S and then to Nexus 4 and Galaxy Note 3 and now just back to iPhone 6S two weeks ago.

Very glad to be back, no regrets at all. I liked Android, no issues with it at all. But iOS is still just a better experience and has a more uniform feel.

At this point in the smartphone game the hardware differences are almost meaningless. What am I going to do differently on another platform? Play games, watch video, surf? It amounts to about the same thing in the end.

What's driving my perpetual enjoyment is content. It's limitless.

If you're a gear head, then switching back and forth is the way to go. But if the phone is more than a toy that you rely on every day, pick your poison.
And for those who like to hold on to their phones a couple if years or more, the decision should be based on which manufacturer will actually update the OS and support the hardware.
I normally upgrade every 6-8 months but so far I love the battery life on my 6S+ so unless the next Nexus comes with a monster battery, I'm staying put or getting the new 7.

What really pisses me of with iPhone is the cost of storage, £100 extra for more store when and SD card would cost £10. I'm using a 16gb iPhone 6, having to constantly juggle storage, yes I should of bought a bigger phone but it was all I could afford at the time, regretting it now.

think ill try a Galaxy S7 Edge. i couldnt care less about specs now that phones are pretty much on a matured level.

my iPhone 6 runs everything fine. at this point it would be like updating a Mac every year. i just want a whole new design to play around with.

i will still have my iPhone 5 & 6 + iPad Air 2 for my iOS needs so its not like ill be kicked out of the ecosystem all of the sudden.

You seems to have a lot operational glitches. Get your phone looked at. You could have a bad logic board.

You're right about ios 8 and I agree it's probably the worst release ever, but IOS 9.2.1 is smooth sailing and like the new features. Even have the beta installed on my ipad.

then there must have logic board problems with my two air2s too... since ios9... very bad luck ;( i should jump from the balcony...

I can see that having an SD card would be beneficial for some but having used them in the past with android phones I'd much rather pay extra (which I did) for a 128GB iPhone.
