Question:

I went by a GA kiosk and noted the very small, close cut-out around the flash on the back (as opposed to the larger pill-shaped cut-out for the flash used by other skins and cases).

This concerns me, as the Phantom Skins I had on my 4 were similarly cut very close to the flash, and caused a lot of flash issues when taking pictures (the skin caught and reflected the light back, much like the first "flawed" iPhone 4 cases did before they were re-designed to use the "pill" shape.)

Can anyone with experience with the GA for the iPhone 5 speak as to whether this flash cut-out on the GA causes similar issues?

Thanks,
Mike

Good news due to the overwhelming feedback we did go ahead and test the one piece back and are switching to it! Thank you Macrumors for your assistance... ;)
@GA Support

So if I order online today...which version will I be getting? One piece or three piece?

Also...if I order online and take it to a kiosk, will they install it for me? Will the kiosk take returns on unopened orders placed online?

I just ordered the back only kit in clear yesterday so I don't know if I am getting the 3 piece kit or the full back but in any event, I had planned on just protecting the back and using a clear hard case with my new iPhone 5. My thoughts were to protect the back from scratching while using a hard case. Can I still use a hard case along with the GA back protection?

i'm thinking of getting the screen protector - but i'll have an additional case on it as well. how does it hold up on the edges since most cases overlap the screen edge a bit. does it peel up or is it good?

I went to the kiosk in are mall and purchased the full ghost armor. I will have to go back tomorrow night and let them put it on my wife's phone and mine as I don't have time for them to do it at lunch. The sales rep at our McArthur Mall here in Norfolk, VA was extremely helpful. I hope the armor goes on as good as his iphone 5 with armor looks. Can't even tell anything is on there.

Do the kiosks have the matte and clear versions there on display?

I'd love to see the two side-by-side...I worry that the clear is going to be reflective/shiny.

I still think I would want a matte skin. It looks more refined. Sometimes shiny can make a product look cheap.

sorry just to clarify, if i order the back + sides, it will come in 3 pieces for the back which will stick nicely without any bubbles on it?
cuz current market protector for the back, after pasted it gives out alot of bubbles which makes the back damn ugly.

For what it's worth...I called our local kiosk today and he confirmed that they do not have any of the matte skins, but they were expecting them this week.

Oh well, I've ordered one online...I'll post some pics when it gets here

does the matt feel and look different than the clear? i have a clear bodyguardz on my white back. im curious what a matt would look like. hard to tell in that one picture.

if we got ours installed with the 3-piece back, would it be possible to go to ghost armor to get it replaced with the 1-piece?

That's what I'm going to do tomorrow

Do they already have the one piece at kiosk locations?

Anybody get the one piece back ?

My Ghost Armor Kiosk did not even know about the one piece back til I said something about one of their personnel talking about going to a one piece back. He did confirm this with their corporate office. He already had a stockpile of the three piece back that he would go through first but he did take my info down and he would call me when he got the one piece backs in and if I wanted to switch it out he would replace it for free. However, this is probably his own level of customer satisfaction. I don't think he is at all required to do this. My wife and I are getting ours installed tonight after work with the three piece back.

Does GA front protect the whole screen or is it case friendly ???

Here is the picture of an ACTUAL IPhone5 Ghost Armored. This is the IResQ exact to spec device that was featured in a MacRumor article last week.

Here is the link to the Apple spec sheet that shows what "Not to Cover" and what not to cover with Metal. We used this along with the actual device to come up with the most exact design in our industry for the IPhone5.

Does it come case friendly or full front protection??

I got my ghost armor put on last night. it looks good. I have been told it is case friendly but haven't tried it out yet as my otterbox defender isn't in til next week and even then not sure how much I am going to use it right now. It covers all of the front, sides, top and back. Doesn't cover bottom b/c of all the ports down there. Leaves a slot for the sim card slot on the right and pieces go between the buttons on the left so buttons are uncovered as well as power button at top.

Overall looks pretty good. A few spots on the back that stand out slightly but I am having my back pieces switched out to the one piece back next week when they get theirs in anyway.

I'm curious about this too since i'm thinking about doing to Barton Creek in Austin to get it done during lunch. Also, does it cost more to have it installed?
