And in ten years neither one will be sellable on eBay.

A faster processor? Usually means shorter battery life between charges. I tried the Nook at the local B&N and was disgusted with the performance. The iPad blew that turd out of the water. I'm glad that I got a 1st gen iPad. I'm very glad that I didn't wait for 'the next great invention' from Apple...

Faster processors do not usually mean shorter battery life between charges. Believe it or not, CPUs can get faster and more efficient at the same time.

Anyway, it's clear we have another one suffering buyers remorse because they can't afford the next iPad...your convincing yourself that the original iPad is still OK will only work until the day the new one launches, then you'll feel the sting.

It'll only get worse when they show the thing and the casing looks DIFFERENT and BETTER! Then people will get upset =p

It's kind of like when the 3GS came out, I was jealous of the improved specs, but I wasn't completely upset because it looked exactly the same. It felt more of like an upgrade, even though it was more than that. The 3G was actually the upgrade. Then the iPhone 4 came out and looked completely different and people's reactions were funny (those that got the 3GS).

This will always happen! But when the iPad 2 comes out and it looks different, I am sure people will change their tune!

People's true buyer's remorse will be shown =p

ok, so let's say I sell my 32gb ipad now compared to after ipad 2 launch. How much will my loss be? I'm willing to take a $100 hit by waiting. If it is more than $100 I would rather sell now.

My guess is I could sell my 32gb wifi ipad for about $450 or at least $400.

I assume if I waited, I'd be able to sell it for about $350 or at the very least $300.

What do you all think?

If you set it up on eBay privately, I'd buy it from you.
