Steve jobs was right when he keep forstall in his position and hope he com back to add his touch in ios 7

For me the GM on my 5 is pretty solid. I just went into the settings screen and it crashed back out to the home screen then went in again and its ok. The charging indicator never stops displaying the lightning bolt even after an hour at 100 % charge.

Ipad 4 is another story. Its usable but can be sluggish at times. I feel it still feels like a beta. Hopefully the next release will feel more like a GM.
Charging bolt is just there as long as the phone is plugged in, it's not really related to whether or not the phone is actually charging at the time.

Negatives: mostly the music app. I would like to still be able to delete albums (like they did in the post-PC world of iOS 6). Plus, I don't like how they list the songs in albums. Requires too much scrolling now for some artists.

Wait, after they got rid of it in iOS6 and reinstated it in 6.1, they removed the ability to delete albums off the phone again in iOS7?

Yes, they obviously can't make up their minds in terms of what end-user freedoms we should have. There is a work-around though - you can delete an album by deleting all its songs one-by-one. Splendid.

maybe we do need a iOS 7 gm 2, heard there have been a few crashes and stability issues with it so far.

It's a GM and it should look and feel fast and optimized, but maybe it still isn't. I'm sure they are working to make everything work as expected, but everyone needs to be patient and keep reporting your issues and bugs to Apple if you're a developer. That help is more than enough for Apple to fix what is wrong, but bashing and not doing anything about it isn't going to help. :)

Oh wow you mean the overwhelming majority of people who read the MacRumors iOS 7 beta forum will be installing iOS 7? That's both shocking and definitely not an unbiased sample.

I think upgrade rates for iOS releases have been so high in the past because each major release has essentially been the same OS only with new features added. iOS 7 is a complete redesign and I don't think it's going to appeal to everyone in the average user pool. I wouldn't be surprised if a larger fraction of people hold off upgrading this time around.

Very happy with the GM, smooth, clean and a nice change from what iOS was, or currently is until the 18th. However, I have still found a bug, parallax doesn't work after you have held a call unless you lock and unlock the phone again. Hopefully should be fixed come to the final release.

Downloaded it and trying it out. At first I was unsure, however it is winning me over quickly! LOVE safari and the integrated search, the photos app is great too. What was best through was my phone that had only 800mb free now has 2.6gb :) awesome.

I've not had any issues since installing the GM. Battery life was a bit worse at first, but after the first charge it's working better than beta 6. I have Automatic Updates turned on and most of the Location Services on as well. I can't wait to see how much better the 5s is going to be.

It is running well on my 4S. Battery life seems okay so far, maybe slightly less, but too early for me to tell.

I like it overall, after having some reservations early. They made some changes during the beta period for the better.
