Yeah I know, even if you disconnected it with a 95% or so it should be OK, but if you never let it reach the fully full charge it'll end up shortening its duration more and more than if you hit the full charge.

I'm sure they'll fix this eventually though.
None of that affects actual battery life of today's batteries. So you are fine in that respect.

My first impressions.

What a complete piece of crap iOS 7 is!! When this hits the general public there is going to be a MAJOR backlash!! It's bad enough that it looks worse, but the usability has went way downhill in almost every single app.

God I miss Forstall.

BTW iTunes radio sounds like rubbish. I was expecting streaming quality better than everyone else, but it's even worse than Songza!

Not to repeat myself here, but it looks like many of you are reporting problems. I haven't experienced any yet, not to say you haven't, but I am more than pleased with this GM.

I wonder why it's so different for many of you while I, myself, am having a great experience with it?

I do like the look and feel of iOS 7 but the animations are way too slow and get in the way. Very annoying.

It looks like Beta 7, not stable like previous GM's.

I couldn't agree more. Apple, I feel has dropped the ball on this iOS release. Previous GM releases were certainly more refined and tuned in. This GM still crashes and has some more tweaking to be done. It's like they didn't go through it with the fine tooth comb they usually do. They are known for attention to detail, but it's not apparent on this release.

iPhone 4.

Did a DFU restore and iCloud restore once it was loaded.

Faster than expected - considering it's currently downloading all my photos and installing apps.

Looks a little bit weird though... doesn't look "premium" any more

I like it overall with one major exception. The music app is horrible. Bad enough to make me consider going android with the next upgrade next year (I'm an Apple homer through and through, but I use the music app a lot).

I love iOS 7 on my iPhone. The only thing missing is quick posting to Facebook and twitter. I also wished Siri worked better...

I also just found a bug: If I change my background twice, then parallax stops working and a reboot is needed.

I find it wonderful. It's almost like getting a new phone, which Apple should be concerned about if they want people to needlessly upgrade their iPhone. Now I don't have to. I have an iPhone 5 and it's working perfectly.

Negatives: mostly the music app. I would like to still be able to delete albums (like they did in the post-PC world of iOS 6). Plus, I don't like how they list the songs in albums. Requires too much scrolling now for some artists.

Don't worry. You're not the only one. It's working flawlessly for me and it's great.

On my iPhone 5, everything is working smoothly. My only issue is that the panoramic wallpapers that I've used earlier on in the betas no longer work. Is there a specific setting that I can tweak for that?

Some people aren't as susceptible to skipped frames in animations, some notice them more easily. On iPad however, the animation issues with the four finger gesture to return home should be noticeable by anyone and everyone ... it's glaring.

Still no new Siri voices for us Aussies, and Siri sounds like she did in iOS 6, even though some words were obviously better in some of the last few betas, but no longer.

Overall it seems more stable, so I'm happy so far.

Tempted to go back to iOS6 really.

Works decent on my iPhone 4... but the homescreen has lag, no idea why... everything else is actually really smooth

Good to know I'm not the only one! It truly is a beautiful OS.

Maybe, I did notice a slight lag and I mean very small lag with the multi tasking thing, but that's about it.

The UI for videos could use some work. When I first open the app all I get are a bunch of black rectangles, so I have no idea what each movie is until I tap it.

Content from iTunes is fine because it has thumbnail images but movies I've put on myself are just unnamed black rectangles.

I switched to US English in the meantime. She's no Sheila, but she's less feral.

For me the GM on my 5 is pretty solid. I just went into the settings screen and it crashed back out to the home screen then went in again and its ok. The charging indicator never stops displaying the lightning bolt even after an hour at 100 % charge.

Ipad 4 is another story. Its usable but can be sluggish at times. I feel it still feels like a beta. Hopefully the next release will feel more like a GM.
