I have the same question.

With Golfshot yes you can track more than one golfer, I've done it before. On TrackMyGolf I'm honestly not sure, I will be playing in the next couple days and can report back if that is the app that you are looking for info on.

New update states support for Series 2 built in GPS. Wondering if anyone tried it out yet. Does it improve on responsiveness of updated distances? They also commented that for best performance of apple watch built in GPS, to turn OFF bluetooth on your phone. So I'm wondering if all the course information is now stored on the watch? Which would mean those interested in not carrying their phone at all will be in luck. But for those of use that like to score on the phone app...will it still help improve responsiveness of updated yardages?

I still carry my phone since I like to keep score on the app....will hopefully give the new update a test run tomorrow.

I can't imagine not using both the phone and the watch with Golfshot. Keeping distances and my score on the watch have become essential parts of my game, but I like to figure layups and check distances to/over hazards on the phone.

So I didn't realize that the app updated until today and I was out at my local playing and the watch showed that it was trying to sync images which I had never seen before and then I got the message about turning off bluetooth. So I went in and looked and sure enough it said that you could take advantage of the watch's built in gps.

So I turned off bluetooth for the last 6 holes (I was only playing 9) and it seemed to work okay but was a bit sporadic with distances. One of the other things I noticed was that there is no way to start or stop a round on just the watch, this is something that TrackMyGolf has and I found very useful. In my experience today I noticed that when I finished with my round my score was complete on the watch but to end the round I had to go to the phone and input my scores from where I turned the bluetooth off. So that seemed a little weird to me. I was in the middle of the round when I realized that there was the option for only using the watch (which I love because I hate having my phone in my pocket when I play, having a 7 Plus) so there might have been something that I didn't turn on or do right to start and end the round from the watch. Will try playing around with it a little more and will check back here as more people use it and leave comments.

Played a round with my new Series 3 yesterday; very noticeable improvement with updating distances and the whole Golfshot experience much smoother. Highly recommended.
