If your looking for some real good quality headphones and dont mind paying the $$$
Beats-by-Dr-Dre-thumb-480x439.jpg
$299
monster-beats-dr-dre-tour-in-ear-he.jpg
$150

Amzing quality, tangle free, and they sell them in the apple stores:)
They are totally not tangle free and the sound is not even mediocre.

I've always preferred the earbuds with different sized silicone, and now that I've fallen in love with voice control, I've decided to give up my reliable Shure earphones for a pair with the mic and remote.
Umm, why not the Shure MPA if you have an SE Series they are perfect length?

bose in ear are the best
Worst Bose product ever. Crappy sound, awful fit, massive tangling and the worst quality that Dr. Bose ever put his name on. Plenty of headphones that are $30 make these seem like a huge mistake.

I imagine that the OP is not going to want the 800s, at least at the price range. The SE530s and MPA are my combination of choice for daily use outside the home.

Could someone having the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5vi (the ones with the microphone and the button) tell me is the cable replaceable? I know the other super.fi 5 cables are but I'm assuming the microphoned 5vi might not be.

My beloved Etymotic ER-6i suffered the classic "cable busted near the connector" yesterday and now I'm wondering what to do: UE Super.fi 3 or 5vi, Etymotic HF2 or just send the Etys along with the original Stevephones to Ultimate Buds to get modded...

The latter sounds like the best option :)

Don't know that model. Had the super.fi 5 and went triple fi. They are both excellent and well worth it.

Not sure why the eagerness for ear bleeding. I went with some at home made custom ear plugs for about a $100 too.

Can't imagine downgrading from the triple fi now. But check the ultimate ears website or send them an email.

audio-technica

I love my audio-technica headphones:

I searched around for discounts on all of them and I'm quite pleased! :)

The first two, I carry around and alternate. The last one, I use at home.
The one thing about the first one is that they are not very durable, as you can see, but very portable for the headphone style and comfortable. (Mine lasted for about 9 months with decent care. After that one side stopped producing sound.)

(I don't really like earphones—I can't find any that would stay in my ear for a long enough time. Perhaps someday I'll try some in-ears again.)

..well after searching this forum and a couple others and completely hitting information overload, I settled on a set of Sennheiser HD555's. I'm interested to see what I think. I enjoyed the demo of the Bose over-ear model at the local big-box store, but I use Sennheiser mics and know how well they put stuff together.... now off to shop for some buds for on the go.:apple:

Considering Monster Turbines or a set of Sure's... not positive though. I didn't want to start ANOTHER thread on all this, but man there's a lot of info out there!!:eek::rolleyes::D

Very good choice!

head-fi.org has the answers for you. I personally uses the UE-10 Pro custom IEM's. They are one of the absolute best portable earphones.
