Well, after 5 days with my new Blackberry, I'm pretty damn pleased. There are a few features I miss from the iPhone, but wow is this thing a bulletproof appliance (as a cellphone should be).

Likes on the Curve:
* dead reliable; super stable; super fast interface
* major UI customization
* ringer/sms/mms customization, profiles
* whole device encryption
* device does self wipe after incorrect passcode guesses
* not so fancy that I feel concerned about plopping it down on my desk; kinda nice to have a little plastic puck again
* tons of apps available
* Yahoo messenger stays logged in (ability to run apps in background)
* easily customizable auto-correct dictionary entries
* much easier to hear
* Micro SD card expandibility
* exchangable batteries
* homescreen wallpaper without hacking
* non glossy finish/no fingerprints
* listening to my iPod no longer kills my phone battery

Curve Dislikes/things I miss from the iPhone
* web browsing; typical terrible WAP experience; damn I miss Safari, snappy or not
* miss a few of my Appstore apps
* this plastic keyboard is awful, and terribly slow to type on compared to my iPhone, not to mention typing makes noise now, where it was silent before
* media management - major PITA, but I have an iPod for that
* touch.. this took a little getting used to. When I made a typo the first time, I tapped my finger on it a couple times, then remembered I had to scroll the curser back with the trackball, hehe.
* have to pull the battery to pull the SD card
* back to carrying an iPod and a phone

I do miss things about my iPhones, but wow is it great to have a regular phone that just works again
