Funny but 3 years too late. Boasting of having a headphone jack on a phone in 2021 is on par with boasting of having a CD player in a new car.

Anyone else remember sifting through thousands of posts claiming Apple was doomed for removing a 40-year old technology from their $1,000 state-of-the-art phones? And look at us today... All growed up, and somehow unable to imagine why anyone would want to physically connect cable'd headphones to their phone. Apple knew we'd get there. I always get a chuckle from those so resistant to inevitable change/evolution.

And like many are saying here, this ad does feel to have missed the relevance mark by about 5 years. Eek.

You're right. It's good enough for the gullible unwashed masses :p Screw the professional demanding people. They can get expensive equipment for that.
And speaking of 40 year old tech, it seems they forgot to remove the jack from the rest of their products.

Funny video. Apple has become so serious, that competitors have started trolling them. First Intel, and now Google.

To the point: 3.5 mm is not outdated. It allows listening to the music or speaking into an external mic (wired is better for speech recognition) without adapters, with a better quality and reliability, and on any device: iPhone, Android, iPad, PC, Mac, mp3 player etc.

Besides, you don't have to spend a fortune on AirPods or turn on Bluetooth. 3.5 mm Earbuds are only $17 now. I have a bunch of them at home, and all my family uses them.

If a smartphone does not have a headphone jack, I don’t even consider it. Likewise, if a computer does not have at least 3-4 USB ports, I don’t consider it either.
