Mercy on your soul if you watch YouTube for 18 hours.Google says that with a single full charge, a 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro running Chrome can be used to browse the internet for 17 hours or watch YouTube for 18 hours.

There's a lot more to YouTube Premium than just no ads, and I've experienced buggy behavior with ad-blockers on YouTube in the past before I had Premium. Easy decision for me. $12/month is nothing. Many people spend far more than that on frivolous things each month...just cut back slightly on those, and you break even 😉
Do you know the fully history of Chrome and Safari, and web browsers in general?
Nice to hear Google is fixing one of the biggest complaints about Chrome.People here are hating on that browser, but I have my reasons to still use it, like the website language translator is imo best in class, also I like the UI better than Firefox.
uBlock OriginHi, which ad blocker?
I don't care for the ability to download content, play stuff in the background, etc., but if you enjoy those features that's great. I don't spend that much time on YouTube and I'd rather be outside doing stuff or reading. No doubt, others have grown up and moved on.What some people actually want and request is Animoji’s.
If sitting and watching then yeah, I run YT Premium on my screens whenever I’m home, playlists of 4K HDR space, nature, reef fish, walking tours of cities, hiking in beautiful locations I’ll never visit. Also music videos and live cams from around the world etc. beats a blank wall for backgroundsI feel sorry for anyone who watches YouTube or any other channel for 18hrs straight…
17:30 of ads18 hours of YouTube... how many hours of ads is that?

huh? who actually has ISPs with usage limits? Sounds like a bad plan to sign up for to me.18 hours of streaming of YouTube several days a week? I'm sure their ISP will throttle them or charge them when they hit a usage limit. 😂
Low Power mode is supported on MacBooks from 2016 and laterI think the Low Power mode is M1/M2 only.
Cox cable has got to cox people. They are the only provider in our area. We get a letter about hitting our max about 5 days at the end of the billing cycle about us coming close to our usage amount. If we keep going another certain gig, then they will charge us extra. It stupid. I'm already paying for their giga whatever service.huh? who actually has ISPs with usage limits? Yup. It's dumb. I'm paying quite a bit for their max package and they want to juice me if I go over my limit. They are the only one available. Grr.Thankfully my ISP doesn't do that. They oughtn't either for the price I'm paying!
Weird they banned Brave. I'm betting it prevents or at least causes them issues tracking your visited sites.People crap on Chrome all the time and honestly, i'd like to try something new. I keep coming back to it. Why?
MY two cents.
- Safari - No multi profiles, odd way to group tabs (makes little sense). I like the way Chrome groups tab
- Edge - close second. Tried it for a few weeks but it was too busy with the coupons and tons of unnecessary menu options.
- Firefox - My IT staff wont support it
- Brave - MY IT staff has banned it.

You can turn all that off. I didEdge - close second. Tried it for a few weeks but it was too busy with the coupons and tons of unnecessary menu options.
I mean… the AI you want is far more likely to cause our doom than Animojis. Then we are all doomed
None with an ad-blocker.18 hours of YouTube... how many hours of ads is that?
