Are you confusing it with the Samsung Flip? The Fold 4 also opens up to an identical 7.6" screen like the Pixel Fold.

Didn’t know Samsung had a useful fold. All I’ve seen is that Flip in the news and in commercials. I have no idea why Samsung made that. It’s not like it takes up less space. Lol

But what Google has to offer here is just completely ridiculous.
I totally understand why Apple does not have any foldable product in their lineup.

I am not seeing any huge selling points yet over the Fold 4, although the IPX8 rating and camera features of the Pixel Fold are intriguing. Google did pretty good with their first effort. The design looks sleek and refined.

I will write up an initial review after I've used it for a couple of weeks. I think I will prefer this form factor over my ZF4. Also, I like that there is less of a crease and that it folds completely flat. The wedge when folded on the ZF4 is a dust/lint trap.

Will do, and thanks! I keep telling people, try a foldable out for a couple of weeks. If you don't like it, return it. But I will never go back to a traditional slab phone again!! When someone pulls out an iPhone or another slab phone to show me videos or photos, or even to read web pages, I have to laugh. And I love Apple by the way, so I'm not some Apple hater.

I think it's a good looking device. I'd love to have something that'd combine my iPad mini and my phone, but I'm afraid it'd still be a bit thick for a jeans pocket, and I worry that it'll be a bit wider than I'd like for reading in bed. That said, I'll have to check one out in person to see what I think.

Please no, I hate the trend of phone going into $2000... I just need a phone to message, GPS and lookup. Nothing else and stop adding things for entertainment purposes I don't need!
