These types of comments are way over-used and apply to all manufacturers.


One could make the exact same comment about Apple copying Samsung, Google, ect. Most of these products resemble each other across other competitor product lines that share features that are cross-used. Not only that, but all these tech companies essentially ‘copy’ each other. It’s all relative in the tech industry.

Competition is a good thing and glad Google is working on things. However, Google forget to mention Pixel 7 Pro Max.

Pixel Watch looks amazing. Not going to lie the circular design is appealing and modular.

Pixel Tablet coming, in 2023? Why would they pre-maturely announced it now? I don't get it.

I liked the watch too, and the circular design was beautiful. But, when they showed apps and scrolling information, those bezels looked huge. They failed to show off reading texts or email previews from it. Curious how this looks on the watch in real life/context.

Software. Report on the software. In general, this is where things are interesting now--Apple media and fans are focused on hardware which is incremental at this point.

The software announcements were super interesting--and nothing like it on the Apple side.

They copied wallet and the wallet logo.

Their casting and fast pair feature looks like airplay and handoff.

Soon G will copy sidecar.

I loved the white/silver Pixel 7 pro & the Pixel watch.

But other than the looks, they are not for me, as nothing comes close to the performance & battery life of my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Looks like Google beat Apple to the pill and punch.

Part of the problem with leakers leaking everything over a year in advance. It give the competition an opportunity to try to beat them to market with whatever they are up to.

Circle will never happen because it's an uneven shape to display data. The top and bottom part of the circle is smaller than the middle. Only way you are getting through reading an email would be scrolling and reviewing text in the middle of the watch. Hard pass.

Wow, there are some seriously salty comments in here. Competition is good, end of.

With the Pixel 6 + Pro issues we've had in our household I am hoping they will really step up their QA game, and lose the curved screen which is a PITA. Until they produce a laptop though that at least equals MacOS with the M chip benefits (performance & battery life), I just can't see them breaking the ecosystem bond.
