I thought so too, and from an aesthetic standpoint it certainly is because we are used to it.A round digital watch is great.
Why do you suspect that? the apple watch sees great sales figures while every other round smart watch has failed miserably. Consumers seem to be voting with their wallets as to which direction they are happy with for years.I’m actually liking the Pixel Watch.
I suspect this a direction consumers want other than just a ‘square version’. I’d love a round version of the Apple Watch, and diversity creates a larger demographic for the consumer.

They all copy each other, it's just who does it better to debate over. I am glad for Google bringing the competition to Apple. The watch and ear buds look very nice, I wonder how much information they collect and monetize?
Is this a joke? You can already copy data between them. Copy and paste if you want. I guess you need to be more specific because this doesn’t sound new.
The iPad is a solid product line and, I'd argue, the only one for which there isn't a 100% viable competitor. I applaud Google's efforts to try to compete in this space. I wish more tech companies bothered to try here.
