Competition is good! Big announcements by Google. I would love to see a rounded Apple Watch... Apple News in Italy... RCS support for iMessage... and many more things... but... integration within hardware and software is king.

iOS 15 on my poor old iPhone XS (Apple A12 Bionic, released in 2018) runs impressively smoothly compared to Android 12 on my Moto G6 with Snap732G (released in August 2020) which I use for work. The OS, animations and apps constantly stutters and have glitches. Some apps are barely usable for the first seconds.

Apple in terms of CPU power and software integration is 100 steps ahead of google...

Why they announced a device that they will start selling in the fall? Wont that affect their current Pixel 6/6 Pro sales?
