Honestly, I don't get why magic eraser gets so much hype. I use the 7 Pro, previously had a Note20 Ultra. Samsung has had this feature way earlier than Google (and that in Samsung's stock Photos app) and it worked way better and faster than the magic eraser lol

It doesn't matter how you implement things it's about how you market it. Apple knows this more than anyone.

It's not available still, I'm a Google One subscriber and I have the latest app update

Apple needs to get this incorporated ASAP. I love that feature, and want it baked into iOS without need of a 3rd party.

Yes and then they can claim to claim to invent that feature and their fans can claim that Google copied it lol.

We need this feature on the stock Photos App in iOS. Come on, Apple!

I’m surprised we don’t already have it. Seems like the ability to lift subjects out of photos is a good first step. Hopefully we get it in iOS 17

Appeared on my Google Photos this morning. When I got edit photo, it’s under tools.

I have it also and I cannot say I am impressed. I think it doesn't work that well. At least not on my photos.

I got this on my iPhone Google photos app. When I attempted to test and apply this on my daughter's photo where some part of feet was partially covered with some logo, I can see half of her feet got chopped off along with logo. That's why testing is crucial and that's where iPhone is reliable and google lags a lot.
