They're really going all out with the deals. After the pre-order/early adopter promotion ended, I got an email with a code for up to £200 off until 31/10.
Aah, just checked the terms stating it's non-transferable. Might just be specific to my account.
I disagree, most people want more battery life not less.
Whether it's a good or a bad thing, we use our phones more now than ever!
I want as much battery as I can get even if that means a bit more heft!
I wouldn't want a Pixel as slim as the S25 edge but I think they could trim some weight off of it.
No mention of the promised "live activities" in the QPR2 beta? Can't believe in 2025 / 2026 no one can implement this aside from Apple. Samsung's now bar is still half baked which I expect but at least gives me (delayed) sports scores. Couldn't care less about icon shapes...

A "slim model" Pixel? Who cares? I don't know anyone that wants a skinny thin phone with less battery in it. That's totally pointless and completely not wanted.
I don't give two craps about the iPhone 17 Air. It does not impress me one bit and just seems like a gimmick.
Make it heavier. I want a phone that if I am walking in an unsavory part of town late at night that I can use to bludgeon a mugger with.
I wouldn't say it's not wanted, people do like thin phones, just not every one does though.
Or that iPhone Air that is coming out. Yes some may want a anorexic phone,.....til they don't get good battery life then they will complain.

Right. I think anyone who gets an ultra slim phone shouldn't complain about the battery. I'm interested in the edge specifically because it's slim. But I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.
I don't know what Apple was thinking with IOS 26, I was expecting to like it, I don't! I'm seriously considering the Pixel 10 Pro Xl. IOS 26 is so frustrating, on top of that my 15 Pro Max battery life isn't as good since IOS 26.

I think the battery will settle in after a few days with the iPhone having a new iOS, I’m actually OK with it and finally they have all the icons in tinted mode same color
