I used AngerFi recently in Dallas and loved it. I’m considering switching from Verizon!
Well yeah, but of course they pander to the big cities. Try using AngerFi in anything other than a metropolis and you'll be completely out of luck.

Really disappointed. Plus I'm not sure about their stance on privacy. Following a conversation I had, Amazon began suggesting lots of soft cheeses and plastic objects.

i have wished for a long time that apple would become an MVNO.

next step would be for google to make google FI available to users outside of the USA.
even though MVNO and eSIM's capabilities are different, google opening this up to international iOS users would be google's attempt to counter apple's eSIM.
if google goes in the direction of becoming an MVNO across several countries, this could get interesting.

I can only IMAGINE the stuff Google harvests from you. They don't go into any business without slurping some of your data. That's their entire business model.

Their Sprunjers are engorged.

Hmm, currently paying $28/mo for 3.5 GB of data per line and unlimited talk and text on AT&T family plan. Sounds like Fi would cost me twice as much to get what I have now, and I'd be stuck on T-Mo/Sprint. I like that T-Mo provides competition, but I don't want to actually be on their network.

I have Consumer Cellular (ATT) with unlimited talk and text, and 2 GB data. It costs $44... for TWO lines!

If you have a Google anything, they already have your data. Even if you just use their search engine, they have your search data. It's pretty inescapable unless you're not using any of their services.

2GB of data for two lines? Yikes! One breath and that data is gone for the majority of people.

I seriously can't get Fi. I live in a Natl park and my address isn't verifiable.
Spent 2 hrs on the phone with google trying to get it working last year.

I am happy with Xfinity Mobile as I use less than 2GB of data a month since I am on Wi-Fi all the time. I usually spend less than $25 a month. Includes Visual Voicemail, Wi-Fi Calling, VoLTE, and Verizon’s coverage.

I understand that this is not for everyone, but to those saying that Google will harvest your phone calls and text messages - can you please provide your sources for these claims?

Seem a bit of a rip off to me. I get unlimited everything including taxes from Tmobile for $85 iPhone, iPad and a Series 4 watch.

Fi is not much different. The most it charges is $80 (excluding taxes). Data is unlimited at that point, but data speeds will be degraded after 15GB. I doubt many unlimited users use that much. Tethering is included. I think data-only sims for tablets are also an option.

What differentiates Google Fi, is that it will favor the strongest signal from any of its three carriers if you use a Fi-designed phone. Unlike conventional roaming, your primary carrier's signal doesn't have to be zero before it switches.

iPhones won't benefit from Google Fi.

Doesn’t seem simpler to me. No visual voicemail - click on links, not thanks. It’s just not a plan I would find easier.

Might work for some, and nice they opened it up.

Just not my cup of tea.

Not only that, so many other entities are either Google ad powered or have Google's hook built directly into their services. Most of us know, but there's a bit of comfort in pretending otherwise. We all like to think we are a part of the resistance when we're actually just a part of the machine.

Google harvests everything from you, they're reading your thoughts right now, waiting to send the thought police after you. Only hiding in the basement wearing a tin foil can stop them.

Locked to T-Mobile, no Visual Voicemail, no Wi-Fi Calling, no iCloud calling, no Apple Watch LTE, 15GB limit with heavy throttling - I really wanted to switch but there are far too many caveats. Pricing structure is fine.

There we go, knew it wouldn't be long. Can you substantiate any of that tripe? Also does Apple not slurp your data?
