iPad Got my iPad 4 today!

I don't think your going to get any congrats here ,most everybody agrees you should have waited maybe 2 weeks

I think iPad 4 is just great, he can wait for the 6
Maybe the 4 and 5 has few differences.
It is great, and has a good couple of years ahead of it, but in less than a month you can get thinner, lighter, faster + possible extra stuff for the same/similar price, and it'll have at least one year more's life running the latest and greatest software and os.
Madness.
I bought a launch 3, have been happy with it and was only very slightly peeved when the 4 came along. Had I bought the 3 mere weeks before the 4 launched.....sadface.
I only can leave you with this thought the Ipad 6 will be like the 5s bringing only minor changes to inners, this years iPad 5 is the major revision until possibly 2015. If only you could had waited the Ipad 5s design will make the 4s design so outdated. Much like when Philip Schiller took the stage with a new redesigned Imac and said i cannot believe how old previous gens look in contrast to the 2012 model. But to each to his own enjoy your Ipad.
The iPad 4 is good. Like others have said if you waited until the 5 was announced (in the next few weeks most likely) you could still have picked up the 4 for less money (unless you already got a bargain).

Even if it wasn't the same price (even though it probably will be), the OP could have gotten a discount on the 4th gen. I just don't get why people buy a previous gen 2 weeks before a new gen is announced. I can understand a couple of months, but 2 weeks? It's not like he needed it now, but whatever... If he wants to pay full price for a soon to be last gen product, then so be it.
I get that this is a forum with relaxed rules on spelling and punctuation, but good lord. Was this all dictated through Siri? Poorly?
i literally picked up a 4th gen iPad because i was stupid and careless and dropped my 3rd gen face down and the screen shattered and i need my iPad for everyday use, so i kind of needed it but i plan on returning the iPad when the new one comes out because at best buy i get 45 day returns because of my rewards zone

If you got $50 off then that probably makes sense. You might get a bigger discount in a few weeks but who knows. In terms of the iPad 4, it is still a great device and will give you many years of service.

Walmart was offering $50 off and a $50 iTunes gift card two weeks ago. I price matched at BestBuy. $379 total after taxes AND two $25 iTunes cards. I had a $50 gift card from the purchase of my mini that I returned.
If you had waited until the 5 was announced, very likely the price would have dropped by about a $100. That's what Apple has done in the past -- when the new gen is announced/released, they sell the previous gen for $100 less.
Correct - thats why Im waiting to see what the specs are of the 5 and if I dont like something or cant deal with the thin bezel Ill just get a refurbed ipad 4 for cheap money.
