Sorry TS, there is no getting around it. Not waiting 2-4 weeks to get the latest version of a device you plan to own for years - or get your ipad 4 in a few weeks for a much lower price is not a good decision.

Therefore, while you might get a few pity-likes from people, most agree this is a big shame.

:apple:

Congrats. I still have my iPad 2, and I enjoy it immensely. Your iPad 4 will serve you well for years to come. Do yourself a favor and don't get caught up in the "I must have the latest" nonsense you hear around here. You'll be much happier for it.

Heads up everyone: Please, please read the OP's 8 total threads. You will see that he is confused or unable to communicate properly. He has the iPad 3 and wanted to know about iOS updates for it, not the iPad 4, and now he states in another thread he has the iPad 4, and wants to keep it for a long, long time. Now another thread pops up, and he says he is sending the iPad 4 back to save for the iPad 5, but it doesn't end there either. Now he wants to skip with the 5 and wait until the ipad 6 comes out..

Don't know which one he has, but I do know one thing. This OP is confusing.

I do believe the very latest posts by the OP indicates he has returned the 4 and is waiting for the 5. The posts saying he will skip the 5 and wait for the 6 were made while he was still insisting on keeping the 4, if I recall correctly.

I do agree, the OP is very incoherent.

I been wanting a iPad for a long time. My. Walmart was out of iPads for weeks and weeks on end and when I went. Too get my iPad. 4 they only. Had one so I got it why they had it in

This iPad 4 is vary fast

I would have waited for a $100GC, $50 seems too little to me for a year old device and the new one will have more stuff than $50 worth in the hardware.

I bought an iPad 4 over the summer, and loved it so much I got Applecare for it and the red Smart Case.

Runs iOS 7 perfectly. I will be keeping it at least another 2 years.

Your Post is Ignore

I will ignore any post that's talks about my spelling

Two things, first of all I am not blaming you for your blatant lack of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure. Clearly your first language is not english.

Also, I am not trying to be mean but you have to be an IDIOT to buy the ipad 4 now. It is now running a two and a half year old design body, that was made heavier and thicker when the 3 came out. Its processor is bad, and it isnt 64 bit and there is no touch id.

You could literally have waited two weeks to buy a new ipad for the SAME price, with leaps and bounds of new features, or in two weeks you could get the ipad 4 for probably 350 instead of 450.

Dont be an idiot return it.

Play nice now :D
But I agree, it was a bad bad bad decision to get it now knowing that every year around this time, we get the update
I'm sorry, $50 is not going to make me happy for 2 whole weeks knowing that I had the latest iPad for 2 weeks :D

OP has posted in another thread that he did return the iPad 4.
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1650627/

This was linked to earlier in this thread, with several posters, including myself, discussing OP's apparent change of mind.

Also, I've posted several times my belief that the OP is a native speaker. The type of mistakes he makes are clearly ones made by a native speaker who has not learned standard spelling and punctuation rules. If you parse his sentences, they are perfectly grammatical, just with irregular spelling and punctuation. People who learn English as a second language will spell correctly (they often learn words by seeing the written form first), but make a lot of grammatical mistakes.

This thread is making my head hurt...

But I'll say this: I just purchased a 4 myself, today, from Sam's Club. I had no clue that another one was imminent as I didn't do any research beforehand. But I did come here after I got home to read up and now I know. I'll without a doubt return mine if and when the 5 does surface within the next 30 days.

edit - And now I just saw the return thread. I need to go back to reading more and posting less. :p

lol, i was trying to be generous and give him the benefit of the doubt:rolleyes:

If he truly is an english speaker then his iq must be less than 60. Sorry to be so harsh but I've never read anything with such bad grammar in my life. It's not even like you put it into google translate because google translate doesnt do things like you do.
