Congrats on getting your learners permit! I'm going to be getting mine in 11 months, and counting... can't wait! :D But I'm scared that I'm going to damage the clutch when I drive in manual transmission.

ok this is going to be complicated for me as i drive on the LHS.

always make sure that you give way to the left for a car thats turning left or doing a full turn on a dual lane roundabout if youre driving straight thru. becuase you might think they are driving straight thru aswell but if your too eager to go or dont see their indicator then you could it them.

thats almost had me an accident multiple times. single lane roundabouts are eazy but sometimes i just dont concentrate on dual laned ones.

sorry if its confusing look at this diagram if you dont get it. give way to the car thats circled.

then theres turning right then left on a dual laned roundabout (for LHS drivers) which is too hard to draw a diagram for but its easy for me as i do it all the time. all you have to do is give way and switch lanes while in the roundabout. hopefully someone will let you in if its crowded. if they dont your gonna have to sit there with your indicator on and take a few horns!

Funny, I remember reading that in Australia, you have to use the inner lane in a roundabout if you do a 270 or full circle. Or do these rules depend on the state?

I wouldn't worry about burning out the clutch. Unless you ride it, it'll be hard to burn it out.

Do worry about crashing into stuff though :D Just have fun, and keep your eyes on the road. Don't look at every little animal that runs by or things like that.

I'll try my very best not to crash; thank god for airbags just in case! :D

And although I'm very observant, I will not get distracted by little furry animals, I promise. :)
