Got my NEW 2016 15" MacBook Pro...SCRATCH right out of the box?

Just got my replacement today. It's all good so far. :)
 
Just received my 2.6/512/460 after already returning two MBP's previously. This one has a scratch under the speaker grills as well.
I will return this one too and probably step back from buying further Macs at all. 3 damaged units makes me feel like they're trying to sell their crap to me over and over again.

Are those scratches as visible as they are in the photos are do you need to flash a super bright light on it to come up on camera?
 
It heavily depends on how bright the light is but also the angle it comes from. I can barely see it when i'm at my office. Check this picture without flash light in my living room though

you 2 ahve ur scuffs on the rigtt side. my last 2 macs have been clean on the left but scuff marks on the left. weird

I purchased from Apple.com online
My third replacement arrived today with dead pixels and scratch.
What is going on with quality control.

Same here... first one (2.6/512/450) had marks under the right speaker... I got my replacement on friday and still has marks in the same position... I am going to send it back again.. annoying...

And the problem is that the scratch is SO NOTICEABLE and UGLY... I had it 3 times in a row lol. Space grey seems more immune then Silver

I think it's the luck of the draw. My base model Silver didn't have the blemish, or it wasn't very noticeable. But I saw it the second I opened up my Space Grey.. the dark shading of the SG makes it more obvious IMO.

man u guys had 3 macs with the same issue??? my 3rd replacement is preparing for shipment...spac grey.....ugh i hope it doesnt have the same scratch. so annoying

Third replacement shipped out this morning, expected to deliver this Tuesday! Hoping it doesn't have the scratch cause I've been waiting too long!
 
i got my first mbp replaced because of a scratch. the second was scratched at the exact same location.

all the scratches posted here are next to the sixth and seventh hole of the speaker grill. i assume some milling/polishing cnc-machine is not setup properly and quality control has been suspended.

waiting for a third model.

So I picked mine up in the store, asked to open it to check it because of this thread and it looked ok. But the light is pretty dim in Grand Central. Got back to the office and as I was setting it up noticed scratch on the left side. Also noticed some grazing on the border between the trackpad and the keyboard. Then as I was boxing it back up saw dings on the cover near the hinge.

Guy in the store looked like he didn't believe me when I explained why I was back. So we opened it and I had to put a flashlight on it to see the ones on the inside. The ding on the outside was plainly clear though in any light.

We looked over the replacement very carefully in store.
 
Ordered a base model 15" 2016 MBP in silver from Adorama just before the new year. It showed up with the scuff/scratch under the right speaker grille. It also had a spongy space bar. Adorama doesn't normally accept returns of laptops, but they sent me a shipping label for the defective unit and offered a choice of return or exchange. I opted for an exchange and the replacement arrived about a week after I sent in the first one. Happy to report that the replacement does not have any scratches.

Yea. The replacement was fine. We looked it over very carefully in the store. Myself and two members of the staff beaming cell phone flashlights all over it. When I got it back to the office I gave it a good look in the exceptionally bright fluorescents and then again at home. All good.

i hope my third replacement coming this friday will be the same lol
 
After two strached mbpro's (under speaker grill, right side) my third replacement (Week 54 build) is FLAWLESS...

My lottery ended with happiness, I wish the same all of you guys...
