Got my Rose Gold iPhone 6S+ dock and it's definitely pink

Thanks for posting pictures. I personally would've liked it to be more copperish (to match the rose gold watch I got this summer) but I think I still like it. If I don't then I'll just have to buy a colored case and hide the pink haha.

Even with a case on, that dock will be able to support both that and phone at the same time? I would be be worried that the lighting connector would get damaged somehow.

Realistically, did you think Apple would blatantly misrepresent the rose gold iPhone to appear pink in all their marketing pics if it were not actually pink for no good reason?

It's a good color, especially for you I'm sure, but is it just me that doesn't like that Apple labels it Gold and Rose Gold? When I look at the colors I wish they were more true to their name.
I definitely see pink in this one, and not really gold in their gold version.

My buddy up in the ATL takes his daughter to DragonCon, she's 13/14-ish, and always does it up, usually a Disney princess :) I can't wait for my little G to geek out and want to go (given her current propensity for MineCraft, she'd probably want to dress up like AmyLee33 ...) :D

Lightning connectors are freakishly strong - I've held the cable end and flipped my phone up and down from just the connector and it's totally solid. I mean, with the leverage you could exert, I'm sure you could snap off the connector from the base, but "normal use" I'd say you've got no worries.

How heavy is the dock? Does it feel relatively weighty and substantial? I want something that'll stay solid on the desk and not move too much.

That was my first thought, that it can't be good for the longevity of the Lightning port, especially it looks like it's at an angle and without any support on the back. I know the Lightning port is quite robust, but still I'm a bit OCD when it comes to this kind of stuff - I have not once broken a headphone jack or plug, USB etc etc. I actually tell my kids when they plug their gadgets in to not let it rest on the Lightning port, passing my OCD on to my kids lol.

My daughter would love a rose gold iPhone if I showed it to her ;) it's pink I like pink DAD ;)

I'm not saying that they misrepresented anything. What is clear is that the phone has looked a lot of different colors in all of the pictures I've seen. I was hoping the phone was closer to one of the other colors that I've seen.

To me these pictures look significantly more pink than the ones on the Apple site. Whatever, I'll rock it for a year but that dock looks just straight up pink and that's not what the phone looks like on the site.

i am guessing those surprised didn't have an apple store near? My wife wanted to make sure it was pink so we checked out the new rose gold sport watch since it is the same color.

I'll hopefully get to check it out this week... But man after seeing this I will probably go for an apple leather case to cover the back instead of a clear case like a planned. Either way though, it's just a color. The phone will still function exactly the same! Thanks for posting the pics :)
